Those poor buggers in that hot air balloon won’t be getting in that thing again 😂 , thanks for this video Bob as I’ve been stuck trying to get those gates working so you’ve made my life a lot easier

THANKS mate,awesome video as always,i originally tried changing the path to the prefab folder but it didnt work,i imagine now maybe because of a typo at my end,i then moved the xml file to main maps folder n still couldnt get it to work,Ill put it back in prefab folder and repath it correctly this time,again thanks mate

Oh wow, i cant remeber, easiest is what i normally do is open the i3d in editor and search the name, then once you find the name of the xml tou you can check the node id and search that, it will take you to the correct settings for that attribute 👍🤗

Great Video but question what if you wanted to add it to a map your playing as the parts wont load it as only loads the base map.... any work around?

One thing I did notice was if you duplicate any of the gates the new gates throw up errors in the log file

Yes, every gate needs to have a unique name, so if you duplicate a gate call the new one gate02 or gate03 etc.

@@FarmerBoBonRU-vid yeah I figured that out eventually, why doesn’t that happen when you duplicate trees? Is it because of the gates requiring the animations xml file

@@FarmerBoBonRU-vid hey Bob, whenever I change the texture colour for the cut grass ground type, does that new colour go into my mod mod when I upload it or is it just changed on my FS22 game on my PC? I hate that light grey/green carpet look it has as it looks completely unrealistic

@@FSLandscaping everything you change in the editor gets saved in your map.i3d so that the changes will always be with your map.

At 7mins you have the animated objects xml highlighted & then in the top bar your & you say take the directory & that top bar changes but how do I make it change to allow me to copy it

Dear Bob, I need your kind help. )) I am trying to animate some door myself. Everything is already working but I have some problem behind this door. I pass the doorway and the door trigger but then I am stopped with some invisible wall and I can go to the sides only. But actually, there is no any obstacles there. If I copy this door somewhere else, I have the same problem behind the door. And there are no errors or warnings in my log at the same time. Have you any idea about it. I've exhausted mine. )))

@@FarmerBoBonRU-vid Yea, thanks! )) I've just found one useful video about this mode. )) On F5 I found some strange big doors on that place marked in orange. Now I have no idea how to see them in editor and delete. ))

you need to first download prefabs from within giants editor, it will create the prefabs folder for you.

you need to place the prefab exactky as i did in the video, using the placeables.xml and storeitems/moddesc for the store @@WOOFYxXD
