You can adjust the location of where the fill nipple ends up after threading everything on by loosening the 2 set screws on the bonnet of the reg and adjust accordingly. You have to de-gass the bottle before doing this. You can also adjust the output pressure on those bottle regs by adding (higher pressure) or removing (lower pressure) the shimms under the bellville spring stack. Again, the bottle must be empty to make any of these adjustments. And make sure the Bellville spring stack is even numbers of spring washers opposing eachother. For example 2up-2down-2up-2down... if there are uneven numbers in the opposing stacks of spring washers, the lower number stack will get overwhelmed and flattened out by the higher number of opposing washers stacked againstit.
On the new Kraits there is absolutely no need for this. They all come with Huma regs now and are AWESOME! Check out my review on the Krait X in the rain and you'll see what I mean.
Wow, WELL DONE, and thanks for mentioning how the threadings can be OFF, for the nipple placement... that a GOOD pointer so WE know to get 'additional one or two on prime to return for free', Love that. THANKS for making USEFUL and CONCISE videos, and ALSO for HELPING ME, for no reason. Kindly, ~OneManCircus.
@@airshootist LOVE the Beavis and Butthead comments, i am charging ALL my cameras and night gear to refract light in SLOW MO with new bullet m50 design NOE made for me...later FOR ALL... it is FUN process, now i send him more to make, FOR ALL with PCPs... we can TRY to help one another, try at least and sometimes the Point of Impact works. True but it'll also strip the anodizing and since these are $6.99 on Amazon Prime right now it just makes more sense to buy a few of em and return the ones you don't need (for free)
What a carry on , just to try and get a brand new rifle $1700 + extras working? Be interesting to see if this solves it, I mean a creeping reg is still likely to creep. Thanks for the video.
Yep, a few others have tried it on their Kraits and it still crept. It definitely creeps way more when lots of pressure (250-300 bar) is leaning on it, so the idea here is to cut that down and hopefully slow the creep. Gun is really not usable and Airmaks won't honor the warranty. Unless an aftermarket company (looking at you, Huma!) develops a reg for this thing - we're pretty well boned. As a disclaimer to anyone reading this, DO NOT buy an AIRMAKS KRAIT (or any Airmaks gun) 💩💩💩
@@airshootist By the way , I think you are handling yourself well on that Airgun Krait forum. Only what I sense (something doesn't feel right) , but I wouldn't be surprised if Krait had got in touch with the main justifier of their dodgy product, in order that he steer it in a more positive/neutral place. The whole conversation and suggestion about coughing up $1700 and then just sitting back patiently is gaslighting 101. Keep keeping it dignified friend.
@@henryjones1998 Hey man thanks for that. I know I'm a little bit harsher and whatever than most dudes who have a YT channel, and that's because I DGAF, plus I am pretty pissed off with that turd of a gun as well as Airmak's unprofessional responses and handling of the issue. I scrapped a whole review with the V1 reg, being a super nice guy. After the V2 and V3 being turds, my patience was running out. I warned the dude over at Airmaks that if he didn't give me a tangible solution ASAP I'd publish the bad review. He gave no solution and didn't reply, but then I published that video and he demanded I delete the video AND THEN he'd talk about a solution. Like... NO, dude. Get rekt. I ain't deletin' shit. Anyway the main justifier, if it is who I think it is, is actually a really nice guy that I talk to on the phone a lot with. He is a good dude, just way more patience and "zen" than I have. FFS, you can buy a combat ready AR-15 for $1700 and here we are sitting there with a busted ass airgun for the same price. Airmaks is despicable for using their customers as a test bed for a gun they knew didn't work at the price of a combat-ready AR. What clowns.
Hello. I have a v3 regulator on my kraitX cal 25. Regulator setting 110bar..290bar-->110bar, 78 shots, pellet velocity jsb heavy 912-918fps. no problem with the gun
Lucky you. That makes about 1 person in 100. Quality control is non existent on these regs. I'd sell the gun if it's working well and buy something better immediately. Who knows how long it will last working well like that.
the Krait has a degassing screw. The newer generation Kraits have the reg problem fixed because they use Huma regs now, so you shouldnt need to double regulate it
Hola amigo seguimos su cuenta!, tengo un krait L me podria ayudar indicandome cual seria la valvula huma que debo comprar, compre en huma la mk1 y no quedo. Quedo atento. Saludos.
Hello I have been trying to add an adapter to my hatsan blitz 30 cal. I wish to connect and disconnect carbon fiber are models with hot swappable connections. The regulator you added to the PCP. Is it hot swappable? The regulator you show in your video is adjustable
Yes as long as the hot swappable fitting that goes to your existing bottle is M18 thread - since it would then screw into the paintball adapter. The reg is adjustable if you reconfigure the belleville washers (not for novice tinkerers, need to build a pressure test tool)
Sorry dude, I have no idea. I do not mess with that brand and know nothing about the parts for them. You might want to start a thread over in Airgun Nation and see what better minds have to say about that. I bet they can help
Yep, you can do that. Should be the same thread. However if you have multiple of the adapters laying around, as I did, it was much easier to just cross my fingers and try multiple adapter to see if one would line up
Great question! Hands down it would be my Airforce Talon SS. The gun is so simple and reliable, and 99% maintenance free. It was also super easy to add a regulator to. If you watch some of my hunting videos you'll see how perfectly it performs, and it's about 19 years old! These also have a lifetime warranty. 2nd up would definitely be my FX Maverick.22 sniper. Also very reliable and super accurate, with enough power to take game at 150 yards. Not as durable or low maintenance as the Talon, but a great gun nonetheless.
Lol. Airmaks has already done 3 versions of their reg and all of them suck. I wonder if the V4, V5, V6, V7 or V8 reg will solve the problem. What I learned here is: Stay away from Airmaks products. My cousin could have bought a WAY BETTER, actual working gun for the price. The solution I mentioned using the Huma bottle reg is much cleaner, but the same thing as this functionally
Need to test it. Another guy I am talking to was saying that the garbage Airmaks reg STILL crept even after lowering the supply pressure considerably (to like 170 bar)... One way you can solve the problem with the Airmaks Krait is to never buy it in the first place! 👍
Yeah, they suck. Never again will I buy anything from them. And neither should anyone else. They used their customers as a test bed for a terrible design they knew didn't work... Price of admission to the test was $1700.... oooof
