I adjust the rear skids on my HS 928 the same as you described, middle position with paint sticks. This year, I added additional side shoes. I noticed I was beginning to scrape some steel on the sides when using low position. I set the side shoes with the bucket in the low position. Allowing the scraper to “scrape” but will protect the bucket sides as it wears.

Hi Anthony, I have an HS 1132 where would I get the side shoes and once installed do I keep the rear ones or do I remove them? i’m up in New Hampshire. I have a 3/4” hard pack driveway. Love your videos and the hat. I have a similar one.

No it's not. we have a video on fixing this on the Facebook group Honda Snowblower Enthusiasts.Its from a Honda Dealer that figured this out.

Thx for the video. If you set everything in the middle position, is the low position then unusable or when would you use the low position? Just trying to understand why the housing guard and skids would not be set when snowblower is set in lowest position.
