Couple suggestions: You want to make sure that the surface you are resting the blower auger housing on is completely level. Also I always use a small level on top of the auger housing when adjusting these. Thanks!

Hey boss! I'm trying to attach the shoes for the first time. All the bolts stop before the shoes are tight. Am I suppose to force the bolts past the point where they stop? Thanks, John

On the Amazon ratings there's a good suggestion to add a bigger washer so that the adjustments are easier. (The smaller washer dents the poly and makes adjustment not work well)

That it a pretty good suggestion, if you tighten down the bolts quite a bit it will dent the poly. Thank you for watching!

I have troy bilt snow blower Im having issues in the winter when blowing snow the blower always scrapes the floor. I was wondering if I can put skid shoe on it?

Most Troy bilt 2 stage snowblowers come with skid shoes from the factory. If yours didn’t you should be able to add them as long as you have the holes in the side of the blower to install them. Are this universal fit . Need to replace it on a craftsman . Need polymer skid shoes to protect my pavers from getting scratched

Yes they are and should fit your craftsman. There are multiple slots to fit many different machines and are considered universal.
