Welcome to the Applied Energistics Mod!
This mod is all about digital storage and is much more complicated to it's counter part Refined Storage.
Today we will cover making your ME system wireless. This can be done in multiple ways but we are going to show off some extra mod addons as well as Vanilla Base AE2

Applied Energistics 2 is a mass storage mod for Minecraft that offers the player a network-based storage system, allowing them to store items and fluids on a massively expandable device network.
This mod not only adds storage solutions, but also devices that can be used to manipulate items and blocks in the world and from within the system, such as importers, exporters, external storage using other mods and more! There are also devices in this mod that allow the player to setup auto-crafting, allowing the crafting of complex recipes in a few simple clicks.

Guys if you are playing version 1.20.1, there is no security terminal, to connect your terminal to the network you just need to go to the ME Wireless Access Point and connect it from there.

I love the tutorials my dude, great job. Would love to see some "realistic" examples of how a network might look with all of this put together. Maybe you have some older vids you could point me to or maybe the final part in this series could be a showcase what basic, intermediate and advanced setup might look like in an actual world. Anyways, good stuff!

I don't have anything like that although I do want to do a let's play series of a pack. These tutorials are more a "hears how it works" instead of tailoring set ups to certain things

a "realistic" AE2 network/server that tries to stay 100% true to real life would need a rework of AE2 for it to include bandwidth, transfer speed and signal loss i think

I've barely used AE2 storage, and when I did I never went into wireless. I now went from already hating the setup for AE2 to absolutely despising it because of how difficult they made it just to set up wireless. Others might enjoy it, but I'd rather it just be a simple setup instead of having to get to end game just to get some wireless storage.

Exactly my thoughts. This is way too complicated for some quality of life. I'm playing a modpack that only has AE2 and not Refined Storage so was forced to try it. Don't think I'll play another modpack that forces me to use AE2 again 😅

ikr, Refined is way easier to craft and use, I am now playing e2e and theres no Refined, so i gotta re learn AE2

I loved AE in Tekkit Lite in Version 1.4.7 but this updated version of AE is way too complicated and complex.. I want the old one back 🙃

i set up my second quantum ring far away and powered it and it does work why? Also i have a quantom bridge card in my terminal and and a quantum entangled singularity in my quantom ring and terminal and when i go out is says im not in range?

so for the quantum link chamber thing, im guessing you can only have 2 connected to eachother and not more and if you wanna connect to more than 1 place, you'll need to instead run cables there?

That’s right. Only 2 links at a time. You can make multiple links but they are always in pairs. Never more than 2

Is there the Infinity Booster Addon for fabric?

Playing on 1.18.2 and the Wireless Access Terminal for forge doesn't have a Quantum Bridge Card or Singularity slot. Not sure if this was changed for 1.19+. It has an Infinity Booster Card, that doesn't ever seem to work properly. Suppose to be able to access the terminal at any distance and across dimensions, but usually unable to as it says station can't be found.

Is your entire me system and power generation chunk loaded? The wireless terminal will not work if the system isn't loaded.

I don't get what the point of quantum bridges.. do they give you infinite wireless range of access to your network?

Yes and across dimensions provided they are chunk loaded

Id you have Sink in modpack just use water to create singularities:)

If the modpack has EvilCraft then the water block is even better. It transfers infinite water at the maximum possible rate for the game (MAX_INT) and can be placed directly against the matter condenser and pushes water into it, no pipes needed. Great for Mekanism reactors too.

I cant seem to get the quantum ring to work... i have done everything you said, and built everything in the mining dimention, but in the overworld it wont connect. everything is powered and idk what the problem could be. playing on all the mods 8 btw

I figured it out... i was using a controller on both sets.. so i had a controller conflict.

i don't know why but i can't even get the quantum entangled singularities, every time i blow up the ender pearl and singularity only one singularity is left not even an entangled one can someone help

My wireless system not working with infinite range card… When i go away my base is not working Is this whole thing need to be chunkloaded??

Yes of course it needs to be chunkloaded, if your main network isnt loaded, you cant access it.

If you are playing version 1.20.1 then there is no security terminal, to connect your terminal to the network just go to the ME Wireless Access Point and connect it from there.
