UPDATE!!! We eventually went back to the Nigeria high commission in the first week of March to submit the NIN and they included it in her application. Then the wait begun and by May we were wondering why it was taking so long. My husband was already considering going back there to ask what was causing the delay. Finally, in the last week of May, the passport came in the mail. This was about 2 months after submitting the NIN and a whopping 6 months after capturing. Please note that the extra delay was because we didn’t include the NIN in the initial application). Please don’t make the same mistake guys. We’re really happy that the passport is finally here, you would think we won the lottery 😂

They include originals and photocopies of The bio data page of the parent’s passport Applicant’s birth certificate Payment receipt Appointment letter The print out of the applicant’s information Postal order and Delivery envelope I hope I didn’t miss anything but the documents to come along with will be displayed during the application process. @@pelebanji3440 Congratulations on your new baby ❤️.No the NIN is not free. I think you’ll pay about £40 online at the point of booking. For the documents you’ll be informed about what to bring along at the point of registration as well. I think they ask for photocopy of the bio data page of one parents passport and I think birth certificate.
Thank you so much, I watched this video and I was able to get information I needed from getting my NIN change of name to passport renewal. Your video really helped. I did capturing and biometric for my passport on 23rd of February 2023 and today made it 4 weeks but I haven't received my passport. I went online to track the process and I realised something like"❌ pending for NIN verification" Please do it mean my NIN is not yet verified or what? Someone should explain to me and confused.
I’m glad you found it useful. Once you get into the building you can request for a tally number from any of the staff and they will direct you to get it. I think it was one of the people behind the counter that gave us a number but I don’t know if it changes. I hope this helps
Hello, i had my biometrics done on 17 of march in londok, yet i havent received my passport. When i tracked it, it says passport production in progress, also it says nin succesfully verified. Could there still be an issue looking at the long wait. Thanks
We submitted our NIN on March 7 and we just got the passport on Wednesday so yours should come in any time from now. I think the wait is an average of 2 months
Hi, I'd really appreciate a response from anyone who knows what would happen. I've used my mother's maiden name instead of mine in the maiden name space of passport application. Is there a way I could change that? Is it possible to make corrections to the application or do I just wait until my appointment date. I'm utterly confused. Please I need help, thanks in advance
@@jemimahbassey2728 You could check to see if there is a way to make changes to the application. Alternatively you can check the FAQs on their page to see if anyone matches with the issue you have. You could also try calling them, you may be able to get a response. Last resort is to wait till your appointment and tell them so they can help change it for you before your capturing.
Hi Robert, does the name on the application match the name on the card? For some weird reason they expect the name on the card to match the name of the applicant if not it won’t work. So you need to either register your card (if it’s a different name) or use a card bearing the applicant’s name. If that’s not the case, you could also look through the FAQs on their website, there should be a response on how to proceed. I hope this helps
@@80robina Okay. I don’t believe you will lose your money. You could probably request for a refund or just go ahead and register the card and then be able to book the appointment. But before you do anything, look through the FAQs, there should be a response addressing that particular issue.

No, they usually provide you with a list of what you need. Please have at least two photocopies of each document. They may not explicitly ask you to but sometimes they randomly ask for photocopies
