New series going into more detail on every aspect of a rotary engine build in order to compile a playlist for ya'll to reference in your rotary engine building endeavors
This is probably the only video that truly helped me understand the little details of assembling a rotor. Thanks for sharing your knowledge to people like me willing to learn!👍
Great video! Can you do another video where you take the measurements of the engine (like the oil pump etc, ...) and where you find these tolerances on the next engine build video?
Don't throw the oil control rings around. Don't bounce them around or bounce stuff off of them. They are very fragile and brittle. Do use Vaseline to lubricate them and their o-rings. Do use an old control ring and a block of wood to evenly pressed them into their grooves. Don't press in one side and then another side. You will crack them.
It would be helpful to include side seal specs I for boosted versus na I know it's tighter for Na.I was thinking man what a detailed video and then it just skips forward like that thanks for the update the dead camera battery makes sense I wish you lived closer to the PNW I've got my eye out for one of those repu👀👀
I notice that a lot of people use Vaseline when assembling the corner and side seals. Is there any difference between using that or the grease that you were using? Same idea?
