It drives me nutz that most companys dont just put it on for you half the time people just say the hell with it cause it's such a pain I mean you can go to wallmart and they put it on for you in the kits they have its litterly the only reason I've ever bought them lol
That's a crap design and lots of BS steps. My last one you just popped the cover off, this one had me wondering what the fuck I was doing wrong. Looks like the assholes would have included some damn directions hahaha. Good thing you showed up to save the day.
old video but did this guy just run screws in the top of a sealed fuse box thats great so when removed you now have holes even though little in the top of the fuse box after he stressed getting the fuse water tight REALLY
whats the safest way to change out a fuse holder. mine melted and im replacing it with a more expensive anl fuse holder. other then have car off is there anything else I need to do because it is the second battery one I am changing - how do i keep from being shocked-
I don't understand. You can not tighten one side of the fuse, because the plastic fuse holder doesn't open on the top (or anything) to access the nut to tighten is with an Allen wrench. I'm completely lost as to why this design is like this? You can obviously tighten one side, but as soon as you push the fuse inside the holder, all it does it push to the other side, but the screw can't obviously be tightened on that side. Wtf?
the fuse can be slid completely out of both sides.. so after you tighten one side. you push it through to the other side entirely to tight the opposite end. then push it back to the middle after your done to screw in the end caps. hope this helps you in the future..its shown in the video right around the 4:00 mark
