Great video...easy instructions...i have one question.. my cabinet is not from IKEA, and is only 41 inches in width...would the Utrusta still work?

Hi there, can not say enough how much I appreciate your vids. Can the door be attached on either side of opening? I have the left side on cabinet opening and would like to attach door to left side of frame. Thinking it will not interfere with the carousel.

Hi, thanks for this video. I am about to install an ikea kitchen into quite a small space and I need to lose a few centimetres on one side. Would it be possible to reduce the depth of this cabinet y 3.5 cm? There seems to be a gap between the back f the unit and the shelves. The ikea planner seemed to think that it is possible. With thanks from the UK. 👍

I wish I had this cabinet in front of me to give you the 100% correct answer. But I do feel like you could get away with it. Worst case is you have shelves instead of the carousel. Let me know how you make out

I’m trying to change the height of the shelf after a few years of using it. Do you have to push anything in or simply lift the shelf? Maybe it’s stuck but I can’t lift it up

Where did you find Ikea sektion cabinet bases that aren’t all white? I thought all bases were white and the fronts were different colors?

I haven’t kept track of their options for a few years but when you are ordering your cabinets with one of the ikea associates, they will have a selection to choose from . Sometimes these choices aren’t obvious

We just put this cabinet together the same way you did and all was working beautifully. Then, before loading anything onto it, we pulled out the top shelf to show a friend how it works and it won’t go back in. It only goes back in a couple of inches. It seems it might be hitting on a rivet that is part of the rack but not sure. Any suggestions??

Both of my shelves are rubbing on the side of the cabinet frame. They scrape the side a bit when I pull them out. Where might I have made a mistake? Is there an adjustment for this?

Sometimes the slider for those shelves is hard to push back all the way. Try that first.

can this be installed in any cabinet?

If the cabinet is similar size (24” deep and 47” long) then yes I think so. It would take a bit longer to install but well worth the time. Oh…the door size is 21” wide. Hope that helps

I’ve loaded them up with pots and pans so I would say a decent amount. They are pretty sturdy

can i use on a NON ikea cabinet??

Probably. But it would have to be very similar in size and the door opening size would have to be the same or bigger. It would take some figuring but it’s definitely possible.
