The nerve of someone to refer to you as being annoying because you are considerate in acknowledging your guest...... I think it's impressive how you greet your guest and resume without missing a beat....
I'm a mental health therapist (LCSW). I've been providing therapy for children, adults, and couples. Love languages are important. We have our natural love languages. But it's very important for us to honor our partners' love language. If I'm dead set on not compromising and honoring the other person's way of receiving love, then I would say that's unhealthy and kind of selfish. Especially if the person is expressing their need and desire. We know that love starts with us first, but it's very important to hear our partner when they're expressing their needs.
