I’m not trying to be a Debbie downer! BUT how can you carry a “fake” bag?? Seriously, that is basically saying that it is ok for these people to make these fake bags AND to fool people who would not otherwise know they were fake. I just don’t think it’s a good idea to support them by even carrying the bag! I would use it in my backyard fire pit! Thanks for sharing this though! Very informative!
Trust me, I’d rather have a real one for sure!! But it isn’t responsible to burn it either. TBH, I’ve done some more research on this since filming the video and found some excellent textile recycling resources and will likely destroy the bag responsibly. Check out this video to find out some more about recycling textiles: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DiBzahvYSAQ.html I appreciate you feedback! Thanks for watching!!
@@dmm29rn I definitely don’t support fakes but using the bag, that I already have, is better than having it out there in the market. There’s really no perfect solution for this one
I love the the handbag 👜 you found ❤️ I love neat handbags that I find in the wild & if it real well then it’s a plus if not oh well we still score right 👏🤗❤️
Hello my friend! Thanks for sharing with us all the details of how to authenticate! Such a bummer to hear that it may not be authentic but such a great score for yourself! I would sport it too!
Thanks so much for checking it out!! Honestly though, I think people pick up stuff they like or that they know. You pick up some of the MOST AMAZING STUFF that I would never have grabbed either because I just don't know anything about it. Learning from each other!!
Thanks for a valuable lesson! You were clear and concise . Saw you first time with Mikey Bags of money - I'm thinking you are going to be a great channel to follow!
Girl don't fret as it happens all the time. Can you imagine if someone actually donated a Goyard? I recently found a excellent fake Balenciaga city bag and fake pair of rare rothy's. Initially it's a little bit of a let down but I still enjoy them for myself.
I find fakes all the time too - still had my hopes up because I have found authentic LV, Chloe, and Rothy’s in the bins before. It does always make ask “who donates this stuff”? Still a good enough bag for me though! LOL!
Something similar happened to me at my first time at the Bins as a newbie reseller. I picked up a Christian Dior tote bag and thought I hit the jackpot! Couldn't figure out why the other resellers I spotted there hadn't picked it up. (LOL) Once I got it home and started researching I discovered that the tote should have had an EMBROIDERED logo. Mine looked screen printed. I still have it in my death pile as I'm not sure what I should do with it. Kinda want to trash it rather than re-donate it so another newbie won't be misled. Thoughts?
It’s so exciting when you think you’ve got something amazing but also very gratifying gaining the knowledge on how to identify a dupe! Unfortunately, I’d say you should recycle it. There are ways to responsibly destroy the item and protect another buyer (or seller) from getting Shanghai’d. So sorry it's not real! I found a Louis Vuitton clutch in the St. Louis down town Bins last Wednesday, but I'm sure it's Fake also! 😭 also was in the shoes, I decided the same,I am going to carry it as my own!
You’re videos are very blurry for some reason??? Sound is good. I watch a lot of RU-vidrs and you’re the only blurry one! I’m surprised you can’t see this when you’re editing the video.
When I'm in the bins, I don't feel like I can take in a big camera or what a GoPro (in most of them) so I use my iPhone. It doesn't appear blurry when I edit - must be in the upload to RU-vid. Thanks for your feedback. I'll work on correcting it.
Well….shoot! However, truly appreciate how contentious you are about what you’re selling. Also, this was super educational for your followers - I know I learned a ton. Thanks for sharing! 🐿
