I've found several of your vids helpful for my use cases! Thanks! QUESTION: Do you have any insight on how to do your birth month and day filter against today's month an day as an OData Filter in the initial Get Items step rather than waiting for it to be a condition? Thanks for any help you can provide!
Thanks so much. The video was a bit grainy but we got there. I modified mine to send myself an MS teams message in as a chatbot instead of emailing the team member. The I could send me own personalised message to make it a bit more authentic (must included animated Gifs)
A few questions: The wish is sent even if the birthday and today's date does not match. Also, the first compose function only gives the date I created the flow on.
Could you show how or describe how to do this if you have a Microsoft List with 100 employees each of which has a unique Birthday Card Image? I can set up an email that is triggered when it’s an employees birthday, but the Microsoft List Image column containing all the employee birthday jpg files can’t be directly added from what I can tell to the body of the email. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Unfortunately, an error appeared when trying to test the flow: ActionConditionFailed The execution of template action 'Condition' is skipped: there are no items to repeat. Can you help me understand what this is about?
Hi! I will try this tutorial soon, I was wondering…for example one of my client’s bday is April 21. Does this mean (of course if I put in all the info and follow the tutorial) that my client will automatically get a birthday email (without me even opening my computer that day)???
I am getting an error Unable to process template language expressions for action 'Condition' at line '0' and column '0': 'The template language function 'formatDateTime' expects its first parameter to be of type string. The provided value is of type 'Null'.
Eh that's tricky since IST and CST is a big difference. I would add a column to the SharePoint List that has the time zone for the user and based off that have a condition statement looking at which time zone to convert to based off the users location
Hi there. Can this flow be modified to check for birthdays in a date range of seven days and notify a user that there are employee birthdays coming up?
@@michaelalex2322 I tried that but if there are a couple of birthdays then the confirm would be false and no email sent. So, I think I would have to have seven condition checks nested to accompany those compose statements.
5th guides the charm... or so I thought. Still getting absolutely nowhere. Followed the guide exactly and getting Invalid templates for every single row.
