One of the problems I use to have when learning crook is it would go into boardslide. So for those who are trying to learn crook make sure you’re comfortable doing boardslides so that way if you drop to boardslide you’re already comfortable and you’ll land it instead of slipping out
One little tip I think you guys missed is the angle you approach the ledge at for crooks. For 50-50s, you wanna be basically parallel with the ledge where with crooks you need to be at a slight angle or do a kind of last second swerve in toward the ledge.
Another problem I use to have is getting on one footed or I had a hard time getting off it would heelflip out so when you get to the end just hop a little and push your back foot down
Easily one of the easiest tricks to learn for sure... only thing is I have a hard time popping off the grind and landing back to my regular stance.. I’m so much more comfortable doing a 180 out or even a shuvit out!! Weird but I need to learn how to do a clean pop off cause it just looks so much better!!
Great video as always. I ride tight trucks + hard bushings so my deck can't 'pinch' against the wheel like that. My only hope is to be more on top of the ledge with my truck but does that count?
The only thing i really bump into is the weight distribution, the trick is really heel heavy. Scary to pope to nose and put al your weight on the heel. Hope ill land it this week!😃
Anyone else feel like Glo cant explain skate tricks very well? I mean he gives you the feelings that happen and that you need to stick the trick. But im 11minutes in and the only thing hes said is "aim for the wheel" and "watch out for 'zoooom'"
A 5-0 has nothing to do with a krook. Also learning a trick does not mean you have to learn something else before hand. You can learn any trick you want no matter the difficulty
