So you're saying men aren't capable of being their own peace? Jesus Christ why is it that it's on the woman to be absolutely everything in the relationship. And women just take it! I mean have you ever heard women, running around saying stupid chit, like that she "needs a man to be her peace?". Dang most women have already accepted the fact that between her husband her job and her kids..... She don't get any sleep or any peace for God knows how many years. Men out there need to stop expecting their woman to be their peace when they get off work and maybe get up off the couch and go change a diaper or something. You may not be able to be your woman's piece but at least you could give her a little bit of a break on the household chores.

I’ve been listening to your channel for at least six months. I’m on the second hand of counting the decades in my life and can tell you it’s much more peaceful being alone, then being with the wrong man. I recently met “the one“ after not dating for three years, He is a Godly man first, which makes all the difference in the world!! I’m 3 months late, but I agree with the 1st tip. My parents were married 42 years before my father passed, but I can attest that when ever my father came home from work, my parents greeted each other with a Good Afternoon and a kiss first, then us kids got a kiss or hug after. Yes, my mom made sure dinner was ready as well. (Growing up it annoyed me, but as an adult I see the importance of it) My father ensured the same when my mom came from work, my father made sure she had a pot of tea ready for when she’d get home and he would be sure to wash any dishes prior to her coming home. Point is they made sure the other had a warm peaceful greeting when coming home.

Also (lol comment #2), when you talk about greeting your man with a kiss - this is why attraction is SO important. My ex would get so upset about me not doing this and I thought it was ridiculous, until I fell in love with my man now and I still get butterflies when he texts me, we still kiss and show affection like we are in the honeymoon period and it’s been 2.5 years. We have other things to work on, but my adoration for him is unwavering.

Married, and my situation too, pertaining to my spouse trying to harm and kill me a few times. Figured out he’s a covert a narcissist a couple of years ago. I recently started ignoring his calls and texts and staying out late, and it worked. He gave me about a two week ultimatum to start behaving right again…yeah, anyway. Now he’s finally filed for divorce, he has tried his best not to divorce me, so he could continue to make my life emotionally, and sometimes physically miserable, and have a personal slave. But he couldn’t handle my “disrespect” anymore. Thank goodness and good riddance. God is great. Side note: I couldn’t afford to start the process beforehand, and we have a house together. He’s on mortgage, I’m on the deed. You know covert narcissists almost never want to initiate divorce because they don’t want to look like the bad guy. Free free at last, but it’s been kind of sad, and I’ve had bad days and cried, because deep down I love him and feel somewhat sorry for him, because I know his form of narcissism is partly a mental disorder from what I’ve read. They’re incapable of genuinely loving others, but I also know I deserved to be Loved for who I am, and not just what I can do for you. I could ✍️ a book about the weird and horrible ways he’s treated me. Apologies for my vent, but I feel it was a good release for me. Hopefully someone who sees this may find strength in leaving. Just do it safely, because these narcissists can be very vindictive and potentially dangerous. Know who you’re dealing with to decide what type of exit plan you need.

5:08 Again, true!!! I was a stay-at-home mom while our children were young, but my husband is better with little children than I am! So that I could provide peace to my husband at the end of his work day, we came up with this idea. When he walked in, the kids dog piled him to play and I grabbed the newspaper and jumped in the bathtub. I escaped for 30 minutes, reading the paper that I enjoyed reading but could never do with three children under 5, and emerged a relaxed wife/mom to finish the evening. It worked beautifully for us!

I was in a 4 year relationship. For 3 years I did everything to make him feel loved and at times he even pushed me away. The last year of the relationship I slowly backed off. I was no longer allowing him to control and manipulate me either. He ended the relationship. It's difficult to drive darkness from a narcissist.

I don’t disagree. It’s better to expound though. Someone has to be able to be at peace, I know people on both sides that are not comfortable with peace. That being said, If a woman, or man, comes in and says someone has to “handle them” or “wrestle them”. Regardless of gender, that’s really weird. Who wouldn’t want to be a place of refuge for their SO. Like life is freaking rough, then you have to come home and “handle your spouse”. It’s just weird.

It amazes me how every time there’s a video about the things men want, or men say women can improve in, the knee jerk response from certain women is to change the subject and make it about what they want from men. For women who have this reaction to hearing men’s desires for a woman, perhaps you should consider dating and marrying other women. That or stay single, and stop watching content about heterosexual relationships.

Stephan is doing this video because women who want to be in relationships with men are asking him what does “bringing a man peace” mean, in practice. And regardless of who asked for what first, if a heterosexual woman has a negative reaction to hearing what men want from women, especially if the speaker is bending over backwards to be as inoffensive to women as possible, then she should reconsider how heterosexual she really is.

Coming from a man's point of view - it's good to know that I am doing the right thing. I make sure I find the right time to talk to him about issues/problems/concerns that I want to talk to him about. Right timing is important. Ex: I don't discuss my concerns when he comes home already exhausted from work. The following day, when I see he is more relaxed, that's the time I talk to him. Result: We can talk properly, and calmly, and converse with respect. Instead of shouting, nagging, etc.

I had a man who was always angry. He ruined my life and all I can remember is in the beginning how happy I was, how much I loved him. Every time he walked in the room it made me smile, every day I hugged him and kissed him but it was too much so I slowly brought my affection down and then he got mad at that. I have way too much affection bottled up that it almost just wants to go anywhere. People even question my sexuality because of how affectionate I am... But like the experiences of all the negativity I have gotten from being affectionate makes me almost frightened of actually giving it out. And then the people who crave my affection turn out to be very hurt people who drain it away from me. Man I just want to ooze my damn lovey bullshit all over the place and be my own lil hippy self but it just seems to not be an approach I'm allowed to have in this world.

I remember my guy and I was on a road trip, and he was pulled over for speeding. He was very tense, and I could see he was uncomfortable. I slid over the truck seat and placed my shoulder next to his; placed my hand on his and told him I loved him. He completely relaxed, and let his breath out. He had been holding his breath. I will never forget how that little move of support made a difference.

Your advice has been helpful and a real blessing. I have been single without a date for 14 years. I asked God for a mate last year. I believe God answered my prayers and this man has been very respectful and slow to move. Extremely shy he has been single 15 years. We are older and our past is almost identical! Nearly 10 months and we hug but have never kissed. I believe that will happen soon. He is the one. If not for Stephan, I would not know how to respond to his very subtle gestures. Boy, you really got me with number 2. I thought I knew where you were going with it and then you said “emotional selfishness” and my heart sank. Thank you for this. My husband and I are working through some things and I desperately want to be his peace, more than I want anything else from him now. I can’t force him to do or not do something but I know it won’t motivate him to love me the ways I desire if I make it impossible for him to!

I love this video! This is something that I was just talking about TODAY!!! So on point! Esp w/ checking to make sure your man is OK! … when I’m in a relationship…. I’m making sure he’s ALL GOOD! So he can focus on HIS job or whatever! Also I realize as an I got older, that not everyone knows to “GREET YOUR MAN” when he comes home!!!! I have to say I love your channel... I'm 40 years old and A lot of things you speak about I already knew but I feel like here and there we all lose sight getting wrapped up in the everyday aspects of life and relationships... I have been forgetting some things that should be common sense in my own current relationship and we get into arguments and Your videos give me that reminder of the things I lose sight of and need to work on. As a teacher, I've taught all ages of people, students and adult students. I was very sick once for two weeks. When i came back to school, my kids were so happy to see me i was almost in tears. I never wanted to be absent again. I felt so loved and missed and the sixth graders even wrote "I miss Ms. L" on the wall and I couldnt be upset about that very cute vandalism hahaha. you are so right- being greeted as someone who matters and is loved makes us want to be exactly where we are and we feel like we belong. The Prophet, Dr. Phil, calls it a 'soft place to land'. Even in the very early morning on a normal day, sometimes it was still dark outside, kindergarten students were always sleepy and so tiny and darling and alittle grumpy but happy to see me and let me bring them peace and warmth and tell them i was happy they were there at school today. Now I work from home and when I go to the gym, the staff are the only people I see regularly and they are happy to see me and ask about my life and it makes me feel like a million bucks to be welcome and safe and accepted. Everyone deserves peace

Listen up ladies! Stephan is telling the truth with his first point about “Greeting a man with love”. I’m dating a divorcee who I had a brief relationship with 17 years ago before he got married. During our initial month of talking, we each made a list of our standards or non-negotiable physical qualities that we desire in a mate. On his top ten list? A woman who is “welcoming and not dismissive.” Unfortunately he experienced a lot of trauma from his ex-wife so this is an important quality to him. I never would have thought it was a priority but it is! I make every effort to welcome his presence even if it’s through a text or phone conversation.

I came to the conclusion that this man who I loved with all my heart doesn't deserve me. That helped me to move on. One day I woke up and all the feelings were gone. I was all the things in this video, and yet, I never felt at peace with him. That's how I knew that he wasn't the one for me. I can love him, but that doesn't mean I should be with him.

I prayed and after 6 yrs of being single God blessed me with a loving,kind,and peaceful man..He's patient with me but I'm not a peaceful person..When things don't go my way I dewell on the situation. My mind says let it go but if I don't say anything about it it literally drives me insane .I don't know why I'm like this..I don't know why I'm this way or how to fix it.I'm 38 and want to be loved and married but its not gone happen if I continue to act in this way.

You must be more mindful of your emotions..step back and reflect what triggers this..acknowledge what it is and start to learn to communicate your feelings to your partner. He has patience you are lucky and be grateful he is still loving you. Therapy, journaling,meditation read the Bible daily let God be in your heart 1st as well.
