Thank you so much! I am divorced, a single mom of two teens and live alone with them. I was reborn last year, Jesus saved me, and since then I am reading my bible, try to learn to be a good mom and a good homemaker. There is a lot of sadness in me about everything I have done wrong before, not have been able to be a good wife. But I try to do the best I can now and in future. And I pray that maybe oneday I can be a godly grandmother :) Thank you for your encouragement and your teaching, it helps a lot ❤ Love from Germany ❤❤❤

What a beautiful testimony. Don't dwell on the past (I do it so 🙈 I'm not one to give advice) buttttt you have been renewed, and you're not the same person you were. It is beautiful and inspiring that you are looking to the future and having a positive outlook. Your kids are lucky to have you. ❤️ PS Germany and Switzerland are my dream vacations, and I'm slowly (emphasis) on slowly teaching myself and my kids German. 🙈

Really! God never said if you have a "good husband," he gives instructions, and it is possible....I think we as a people need to stop being selfish...don't blame take up your responsibility as a woman

nope. not so. We are called to do "our job" no matter who is the husband, children, MIL, president of the country, neighbor down the street, uncle, etc...We are called to do our best in our vocation, because we are here to serve the Lord, not man. Doesn't matter how crappy of a husband one has, one can still do what needs to be done to live a Godly life & to help other woman (which is what Titus is all about - older women helping younger women). Our actions/thoughts should not be contingent on how "good of a job" another is doing. It is a matter perspective. And for anyone who says they do not have a "good" husband, they might do some reflecting on why that is. Perhaps they rushed into a marriage without getting to know the person. Perhaps they married someone that they knew was unsuitable because of flaws in their character or being unable to listen to others' warnings to not do so. Perhaps the treatment of the husband has turned him into a "bad" husband. very rarely have I seen a case where the husband is able to "hide", completely, his flaws from everyone so well that he magically changes after the wedding vows. Perhaps the wife needs to do some soul searching as to why she initially accepted unacceptable behavior. This is what is being talked about when people say we all have a cross to bear. Mistakes in judgement sometimes create situations that can become our cross & it is our duty to bear them with grace, dignity, forgiveness, and fortitude. If your statement was truth, then many, many women would never be able to bear/live a Christian life - because there are many, many "bad" husbands out there. And to the topic that Kelsey is speaking....perhaps having a not "good" husband gives you some perspective on how to steer other younger women away from men that exhibit traits unbecoming of a Godly man. This original comment is a pity party comment that could really steer impressionable younger women away from fulfilling their Godly function within their homes - as it excuses bad behavior from the wife, due to perceived bad behavior from a husband. I pray for discernment for you & pray for some peace if you have a fractured marriage. Go to scripture & get counsel from the Word of the Lord.

I found it was a such a joy and very enriching for myself at homemaking to look to Mother Mary as a home keeper through her Jewish life. I found a thick blue book dedicated to this subject on Mother Mary as a Jewish woman at home. Enriching I thought to put the old with the new, as Jesus told the disciples to do. Don't through out the old. God is in all, as true today as 3000+ years ago.

I just came across your channel by chance and I would just like to say two things... First: Thank you, I appreciate your exegesis of Titus 2 and especially how you stress the value of older women and their experience. Second, some of what you say only works because you are using an (English) translation of the bible but comes across differently in the actual texts (Titus 2 and Genesis 2 to which you implicitly refer). Woman was not created as a "helper" in the sense of a servant according to the Hebrew text. She was created as a "face-to-face", to help man because he was lonely. As for a woman working at home: This is where women in the ancient Greek world usually worked. They legally belonged to their husbands and were hardly allowed to leave the house. Paul wrote that for a Greek cultural context. It is like saying "a man should be diligently working at the office" - that would not mean every man has to work at an office. Or, put differently: If the words "at home" mean that a woman should work exclusively at home, then by the same standard every man needs to be a farmer because that´s what God himself said to Adam. Moreover, there are very many children who would starve to death if their mom did not take care of them by making money. I am a SAHM myself and I like it, but that does not mean it is ordained by God.

I am at an odd stage in my life. I have two children who are in high school and one that is an infant. I was the young mom for so long and now will be the older mom. I have been married for 20 years come June. I definitely will find myself being one who tries to help the younger women. I have always loved helping people. I used to always love hanging out with older women and learning from them. Now things will be switched around. It is just an interesting stage to be at.

6:57 I would highly recommend against it, dear (anonymous) in the Lord. The Lord told us to be fruitful and multiply. He also says so many times he not afraid and to take courage. Pray for your spouse as well that they would heed to the Lord's directive as well on this issue. The Lord uses the gift of motherhood to purify us and to advance us in the way of perfection if we let him. The world wants us to go the wide way and to prevent us from receiving the gift of procreation. It's not always easy but the way is difficult and hard that leads us to eternal life, but the Lord will provide for us!!! For context I am 34, married 9 years this May- and have 3 children, (7,5, 2.5, and my 4th child is due in a month). I was very afraid of another child after my 3rd because I suffered a severe injury. But I quickly realized that I need not nurse this horror of suffering and I needed to put my full confidence in God to the best of my ability.

TMI I had really bad periods in high school (maybe would get 2-3 a year and they would last usually a month each). I did get on birth control, which helped with that, but once I was off and wanted to have kids, I did struggle with infertility. My body doesn't ovulate like a "normal" body is supposed to, so I rarely got / get periods, and I think it worsened from being on birth control. My periods made it very difficult to try natural family planning. And I do believe being on birth control has played a toll on my body, and has many consequences. After growing a deeper faith, I have become against it as a means of contraception. I know it can play a role in jumpstarting periods and balancing hormones, but I believe, especially if one can natural family plan that it shouldn't be used. In my experience, it has never solved any of my issues. My faith has grown in the parts of the Bible that talk about children being a heritage from the Lord. In the letter to Timothy, Paul talks about how women are saved through having children (along with faith and love). And God spoke about how He gave the Israelites the biggest blessing in Egypt, which wasn't freedom, but children. Children in the midst of slavery and suffering. We don't always see children as the blessing they are because we are selfish people. God sees things differently. So in my opinion, I believe everyone should be open to having children, not saying you have to try or can't plan to avoid ovulation, but not take away the possibility with birth control. Look into natural family planning. Take Charge of Your Fertility is an amazing book. I read that first than used Natural Cycles App for over 6 years. 3 months into actively planning for children, I fell pregnant.

I have respect for Woman learning how to be Holy. It is a hard walk but rewarding. I am in my 40s and am now just learning but I admire your walk. God bless you. I notice your modest clothes but let's remember to cover our arms and legs. Thats what im doing now and throwing all clothes away. I am amazed at how empty my closet and dresser is😂 but am happy I am doing my best.

I was raised Catholic. Catholic beliefs and practices are not biblical. The Word of God is above any church and Jesus is above and priest. I don’t doubt that you truly want to be obedient to the Word of God. Looking at your vlog I admire you and can tell that I can learn a lot from you, but you need to start with the truth and the truth is that Jesus is enough. 1 Timothy 2:5 says “ For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus…”

She's probably referring to the Catholic "laws" or whatever they call them on website that's written in Latin. I think Mike winger did a video on it. However, I don't think a lot of Catholics are aware or believe that stuff. It's something the Catholic Church said it stands for.

Or maybe you are being convicted by the Holy Spirit to change your ways. I just read the Scripture and talked briefly about it, pretty much repeating what was said. Whenever someone comments something like this but doesn't share what specific part they disagree with or are upset about leads me to believe they are just uncomfortable with hearing truth and conviction. No ma'am. I just truly believe we shouldn't change the words in the Bible. 3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; 4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, 5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. I truly believe every part of this and desire to be a Titus 2 woman. I just know changing words changes meaning. I don't mind conviction either! I NEVER wanna be in a position where the Holy Spirit doesn't convict me! I have not arrived!
