This dude kept his H5 sneakiness and his aggressive style but he added better teamwork to the mix, seeing his growth and performance has been quite nice, I like that Infinite has allowed the pros to retain their singularities whilst letting them grow in areas they once lacked a bit on.
That look on aPG’s face was amazing! I know I’d shit myself if it were me. But so funny 😂 Awesome breakdown as usual. I’m actually gonna watch this a few times to take some notes 🤓
23:10 the overlay text there is so nuanced and professional! Really important to react and make the best of your matchmaking team’s dumb pushes, but keeping A and B will be better even in low onyx
One thing to add just as a note on Bound's opening strat slide on Streets at 3:55. If you can time your jump to where you actually bump your head on the bottom side of the door frame it’ll force you back down and allow you to start your slide closer to the top of the stairs and it’ll launch you farther into ATM. I’m positive he did it the way he did it intentionally over the way I just described, but good to know that there’s another option for anyone who doesn’t already. It also come with more risk cuz missing on either side of the door frame screws your timing and could get you killed being stuck out in the open.
Bound has been a beast in my opinion. In Halo 5, especially when he teamed with Renegade in the 2v2 scene, I was literally calling him Renegade Jr and the Second Coming lol. But I must admit, when he went to C9, he surprised me. He turned it up. I do think it's also a better situation for him, as far as his playstyle is concerned, but he had to step it up and prove that he belonged. And he definitely did. I think he's one of those special talents that we will be placing in the top five soon enough. Can't wait to see what he does in season 2.
@@MAN0LO220 i agree it is getting better, tho people that got off the halo train and onto the hating halo train dont keep up enough to see the positive changes and good direction 343 is moving towards. 🤷♂️
Phenomenal video I love how much depth there is to discuss with every action, then when someone hits a crazy shot it's always "you can't teach that" lol I don't understand how so many people prefer games where crazy shots are the primary deciding factor in who wins and loses.
because it's genuinely such an adrenaline/dopamine rush when you do hit those shots/someone on your team hits them. You never know when a crazy, game-changing play will be made. It gives room for insane comebacks, which is probably one of the most rewarding parts of competitive games. It's just so addictive, every moment in every game is a lottery ticket.
I swear Shyway needs a team to coach. I say FaZe, but that's just my opinion. This man deeply analyzes more gameplay than probably the players themselves lol.
Coaching is totally different to analysis though, analysis you can spent hours or even days on but coaching is making huge decisions in the heat of the moment.
Can’t get enough of the Renegade and Bound analyses. They both appear to play wildly aggressive at times, but these breakdowns perfectly demonstrate how calculated their plays can be.
The way I visualize snap sliding timing is that when you make contact with the floor, visualize your spartans boots "bouncing" from the impact of landing, and using that 2nd touch of the ground to input the slide
Can you teach spawn control on each map? A dedicated video on controlling spawns would be so helpful. Another video on how to play as a team would be great. You’re carving your own lane here on teaching game strategy and it’s needed for infinite. My buddies and I struggle to play collectively and it’s difficult to identify how we can improve as a team. It’s like three lone wolves using coms and getting kills but losing so many objective games. Thanks for your content, keep filling the void here for halo. I still love the game no matter how much hate it gets.
We covered very similar and some of the same footage on LiveFire KOTH man (my most recent vid). Fantastic game from C9 there. They did so well to get the reset. Have a gd one
Man Infinite HCS is so fun. I'm having pretty much as fun with Infinite as I did in H3. It's nice to have Halo and the Battle Rifle back. The winter update is sounding like it's gonna help quite a bit with some of the issues. Still some more work to do, but I'm digging it. Listen-ins are the best parts of the tournaments.
Bound plays Halo different it's cool and impressive to watch. Watching him makes you look at your own gameplay from a different perspective. That being said Optic have 2 of these types of players in Lucid and Formal lol
I'd like to see them carry a team of literal children to a win on a slow wifi connection against a team doing callouts all of which have a better connection, then I'll be impressed.
Should've also included that Bound hits slides and shit so well because his nose is literally touching the screen all the time he plays lmaooo. Great vid once again, brother.🔥
Skyway what do you think about a map for observing HCS? like how its done in CS:GO. i think it would make learning positioning for viewers much easier than the looking through walls
10:55 is the one ledge I cant curb slide on. I can do other side no problem as well as most other places. I can do that curb if I'm standing on the ledge. But I can't do it if I sprint from tower. No idea why. I just can't.
New sandbox update says they’re removing snap sliding aka curb sliding can you please talk about this 343 is banning fun and needing the skill gap again.
Yeah just the advanced mechanic of snap sliding which would really be a shame as I have made some of them a key point for openings cause they can be pretty consistent
Not sure it would change much tbh. Look back at the original Faze roster. Bound, Bubu Dubu, Falcated, Snipedown. On paper, and especially in hindsight seeing what Bound and Bubu Dubu have done on their new teams shows how ridiculous that roster SHOULD have been. Sometimes a "God team" just doesn't work out in gameplay though.
Insane regain out of Lucid to shut down Bound. From a 0.85 to 1.45 is insane composure when your back is against the wall. Also, Formal was the x-factor to this team. He takes a lot of pressure off Lucid by always having the most damage was a top 5 player towards end of the season.
