18:39 ok this was actually kinda humorous. Abducts a tank, but without any ranged units to kill it so he sends in lings. Lings get shelled because they just ran into the range of other tanks. Pulls back the lings before killing the tank, which now has effectively been abducted into a more advantageous position for shelling zerg army. Realizes this, in a panic sends in a flock of banes from the other side of the map to kill this loathsome tank. Banes get roasted on their way in to the tank, which dies with one bane while the rest turn to finish getting roasted by the hellbats. Lol

I used to rush overlord speed like him too! I had problems with scouting so i made overlord with speed to make the scouting easier.

In choose your race - it seems that I should choose Zerg, even though I though protoss might be more suitable for me. I suck at every level, I do not know nothing and I have APM of something like 5, or 10 tops

Quick tip if anyone encounters this mech style on ladder: just rush swarm hosts, preferably with a nydus. Without air, the mech can't deal with the swarm hosts for quite a while, and the swarm hosts will just remove all the tanks and from the terran army, letting you drone up to ridiculous levels and just send 200 banelings at the 12 minute 2 base mech push.

I'd say the single "g" was for "game"; this Zerg took every move away from "good" that they could XD

To be totally fair I agree with this Zerg player. Half of the terrans I see do nothing but camp 2-3 base which you can’t attack into until hive tech OR a Tremendously risky all in. By the time 6 minutes rolls around and you have high eco they have already made an army you cannot counter (say 5 tanks and any amount of hellbats to counter lings. And a couple banshees or cyclones to make you waste roach ravager. You say to counter the hellbats with banelings but then they get countered by the tanks or thors (or a pack of cyclones). Is there something he could have done? Yes. But it requires 5x more effort from the Zerg player. Then the terrans hunker down waiting for you to make a mistake. I can positively say my Zerg is miles better than my Terran. But every season I raise them to close to the same mmr. The point higher level players do not understand is that yes Zerg CAN beat this stuff. But the game sense and mechanical requirements have to be roughly twice as high as what you are facing. Id argue the game has gotten to the point Zerg players are so crazy good blizzard was forced to balance around them. Leaving everyone below masters to fend for themselves.

I wanna see someone actually win at this and not suck. Like a solid game, doesn't have to be GM's. Say low masters. Where they both do basically everything right for the most part, it's a close game, but some unit or unit combo of a particular race is overly difficult to react to whereas its relatively easy to do for the opponent.

The opponent, NetMecH, is known for bming after games. He usually send bm invites or chats after winning a game, especially after his opponent tabs out without gg. he also cheese a lot. There's actually couple other obnoxious ones on NA ladder above master, Another famous one is JoeBobJoe And of cause blizzard does nothing about this.

There was literally point zerg could have won if he just macrod during one fight. I believe the first big bane roll in followed up by the ravages clearing tank Thor the zerg was sitting on a huge bank with a ton of larve that would have arrived in time to clean the scraps and even potentially go to the other side of the map. Also he was really gas starved as lings don't impact this game much if they're not banes or ravagers they could have used the fifth base purely for gas.

Its so sad,that Mech terran could be imba against zerg, but this dude is just bad.Terran setted giant army of hellbats, which most annoying part for terran, is their speed, which mean, easy baneling target. And zerg goes into 4 mutas, while 4 mutas could do almost nothing,arent they have sense from 5 as a harass? I can understand attacking into army after catching all cyclons but dude just ignored it. He doesnt make any injections, or placing macro hatchery, i know as a bad player, that if you cant remember to use queens for more spawn things, you need to place hatchery for it, so you can spend your money, especially when you at 2000 minerals. I just little bit ago understand how much does one building and upgrade cost, it may be not much, just 1-2 roaches or 3-8 lings, but its actually a LOT in mid-early game.And mostly i loved rushing full grades before making giant army, which is fun, but bad decision.I won early games only because of stupider opponents, or discovered cheeses that i beated and had leftover army. I wrote this after Its so sad, but i think it will move away from the theme too much there.: i think terrans mech kinda op and imba against Zerg, but just when it Tanks+Tors+Cyclons.They counter like everything that Zerg have. Ultras and lings? Tanks and tors will kill. Air? Mass will be killed by splash tors. Not mass, by single attack tors. There is also Cyclons that help with it, and help to move on map and bait into your possition , taking something from opponent. Scans dont requare unit, so you can check map for spoting infestors and killeng them before, due to tank range. Also there is turrets against them. What else, roach, hydra, gets killed by tanks, and we left with only swarmhosts? Mb they will work, i werent able to test it. I am too bad at the game and my video card is pretty old.

hmm, I would of built ten mutas, if I accidently built a spire, and only saw helbat/ tank.. and one cyclone... just to get as many free kills before the first thor... those mutas were idle for so long nad he could of built more, I am nto sure why he is not spending money, looks lieka queen inject problem, if you can't inject, or don't like lots of queen management, then go macro hatchery.. is a must... lurkers are also good against ground mech.. becasue of their slow speed. in combination with lurker position on hold.. to then a banneling run over top can be great. hmm

mech is hard to use ..as zerg you have more mobile unit to swarm the mech terran ..see more of the pro game how to counter mech terran

The Terran was not even able to step out of biles. But in terran vs zerg its sufficient to siege some tanks or burrow some mines and A-move all the rest. While the zerg needs multitasking as well as perfect macro and micro. (Why did the banelings not connect the hellbats? Because 10 banelings can die with one tankshot if you dont have the micro of a 6k mmr player). This kind of race imbalance ruined the game on lower levels. And of course this also affects the pro-level. If fewer and fewer people play the game itself then fewer and fewer people are interested in watching professional Starcraft. Too bad, it could be such a good game.

imo, if you want a bubble gum chewing army sitting until you are at max, jsut play terran; If you want ot apply pressure and keep busy, play zerg. If you want a vacation play protoss, that species literally plays itself. anyways.. that is the general rule of thumb, but obviously... playing ever species like zerg is optimal... A zerg that values a bank, doesn't serve the overmind..

4:07 ive done the overlord speed first before......... its a fear build.... not a player named fear.... but being afraid of not knowing whats happening... and deciding.... "fuck it!" You wanna hide shit?!?!?!? Im going to find out and know, the entire game what youre doing.......... and ive lost many games with that mentality because sometimes knowing "too soon" whats coming... can really mess up the zerg player. You start predicting things that dont really exist yet..... and that can be bad for a zerg as they need to be more "reactive".... usually for a frustrated zerg player.... they will do these sort of weird builds after losing 5 games in a row with a more standard opening... and almost quit or break the keyboard or monitor in a rage 😆😆😆😆 so they start doing stuff like this.......... which is confusing themsleves more than anything, because.... well....... sometimes you win those games and start believe its a good build 😒🙄🙄🙄
