As a Darkworld player: - We get FTK'd by Shifter. This card hits almost as hard as Ash against Branded. - Ashing an early Gateway activation usually really hurts as it represents both a draw, and a selective discard. Early on, having enough fiends to reactivate Gate in GY is also a consideration. Don't Ash the Genta, Ash the Gate and it strands the Genta on the field. - Nibiru is best played when 4 monsters with different names are on table if there's 3 level 8s. This stops Giantrainer, Apo, and Saryuja and usually ends the turn. If Nibiru is played almost anywhere else in the combo, Dark World can often play through it. - Gamma is a risk. While it can represent a disruption, it also puts 2 bodies on your field, which opens up some alternate combo lines discarding Graphas while Ceruli is on the field but not yet bounced, which is normally a big no-no because Grapha's pop is mandatory. It's up to the Gamma player to carefully read the gamestate to decide if this is a good idea or not because of this factor. You touched on pretty much everything else relevant in the video. Very good watch for people struggling with the matchup.

@@lifedeather Both. Your goal is to not get Giantrainer'd in one scenario, and not get Apoblocked/let Saryuja extend through Nib in the other. Hitting there is the best chokepoint most likely to end the turn. Sometimes the Dark World player can extend a little further, but you almost certainly pushed them into a really awkward situation by doing so and likely mitigated them fully looping your hand or compromised their endboard in some way.

One other thing to note is that when you use Gamma, place the monsters you summon below the extra monster zones. If you're playing against a Dark World player not running Security Dragon (probably just running Akashic Magician because its combo lines are easier), congratulations you just made it really annoying for them to loop your hand.

@@cobusvanschalkwyk9829 Hit Siilva/Brow/Goldd or whatever they're using as their base resummon engine. Do not waste crows on Reignbeauxs or Graphas if you don't know their ratios, because they almost certainly have access to more of them than you do Crows/Bystials. If they're smart they'll have redundant copies in deck of their resummoners, so you might not "FTK" them with that alone, but it'll certainly slow them down.

Are u stupid? This deck is immune to Nibiru and 90% other hwndtraps ever released, and kills you after possibly shuffling 4 cards from your hand !!! How do you even put such a statement???

The problem with any hand trap besides Droll & Lock Bird and Dimension Shifter and anything that isn't a flood gate like Macro Cosmos is that even if you stifle a Dark World deck enough that they only end on a few big bodies and perhaps a negate unless you then pop off hard you enter the grind game... and you don't want to be in the grind game with Dark World because the next thing you know the Dark World deck will pick up enough steam to pop a few cards with Grapha and Bigfoot, drop Knightmare Pheonix, Cerberus, and Unicorn, slap you with Underworld Goddess or Dingirsu, OTK with Numeron Dragon, or just slap 5 3000+ monsters on the board to OTK you. Once Grapha and Reign-Beaux are establish in the graveyard you're simply not going to win the resource war if a few more turns pass.

I agree with you but I also think that it's a very pessimistic outlook, if you d shifter them then most of the time they have to rebuild there board with 1-3 cards and they have to deal with a ton of negates

A decent attempt but with Ariseheart and pass and Ash Blossom being so prevalent Radian, the Multidimensional Kaiju and Allure are floating around as well as Bigfoot being able to pop a card even if it is banished when discarded. Then there are also potential answers in the extra deck. Dark Law is a problem but certainly not a guaranteed win. I mean there's a reason Danger! Dark World is still topping regionals even with the format being dominated by Ariseheart.
