HOW TO Beat King Dodongo with Backflip - BombChu in Ocarina of Time 

This video explains how to beat King Dodongo by using backflip - bombchu instead of bombs in ocarina of time. This method doesn't require a shield. The backflip works on 4 consecutive frames for which visual cues are shown. As mentionned, baware that pausing removes the black bars that are present while targetting so it may affect your visual indications.
