Legitimate royals, about 8 years ago I made 5 of them in a 6 month period, got nothing as far as bonus goes, I haven't made any since, a few illegitimate ones, ( 1 card in your hand) but I did make one on a poker machine for a $1000, waiting for a buddy after I got knocked out of a tournament, GOOD TIMES 😊
@ #BrantzenPoker & #LexOPoker: Gotta ask about your hand breakdown. Big props to LOP for checking the turn when a blank comes. I think we all can agree that once the river comes a board pairing "King," it's probably less likely BP has trips, so hence the thin? value river bet. With that said, @BrantzenPoker, how or why did you think checking the river was the right move? @LexOPoker, had your opponent led into you, is it just a "crying" call? Keep up the great content gents!!! 👍👏💪
Same -- I was waiting for the "just kidding," but when you spliced in the footage of you folding a different hand, I literally shouted "WHAT?!" at my screen. Nicely done, sir.
U taking extra few minutes to thanking everyone, like me who is from other part of the world honestly felt like I'm also lil part of ur success. Feels great to be ur subscriber. Cheers
Job well done on this one Lex! Appreciate the 4 tips to playing better, you should do that more often. Your first outro seemed nervous at first but it was good. Hope you keep running good 👍
Love the Passion Lex! Nice finish to the vlog. The appreciation you have for everyone also is a two way street! Thank you for all that you do! I hope to see you in Vegas when you come back so I can needle you about weight lifting and golf! You know where to find me in the peasant 2/5 stakes at the Aria. Safe travels my friend!!
its great to see the vloogers working together...it creates a more gentlemenly, fun atmosphere at the tables with the content providers being examples of how to crush opponents for the chips BUT leaving hostility, nastiness, and sore sports behind, as the vloggers are examples to follow. having played with Lex a couple of times in florida he is an example of a gentlemens crusher. the point being it keeps the game fun and therefore making for better atmosphere and more awareness of the game
We love you lex. every time you post I can’t wait to load up the video. Im at your home casino back at the Hollywood hard rock this week! Best of luck bro
Awesome video! Love Lex's realness. Sorry to see that you took a loss but at least you'll never forget that you made a royal flush at your meetup game!
Normally I wouldn't pause and comment, but the ROYAL FLUSH demands extreme respect!!!! Awesome Lex. I'll just say glgl for the rest of the session. 💥💯🤜🤛
Your $1/2 advice is spot on! I've been playing that level for 14 years in the DFW area and my style has evolved to basically what you advocate. I follow 5-6 other poker vlogs and their advice is very similar. Thank you.
Congratulations on the Royal, they are far an few between! I've hit them twice in tournaments, and 3 in cash. In over 10 years of play. And totally agree with tip 3, but when they raise you to a min raise, it's hard to fold just because of the pot odds you're getting. But that works for you also for getting paid off, most will not make hero calls for the big or over bets.
My brother it is always a pleasure good luck in Vegas that should be your best place I going to start playing in 2 weeks for a moment I was intensive care with this game by watching you I gave me hope once again I'm going to give it one more shot wish you but nothing but the best may God bless you bro
I tried making. I got jammed up in Houston (I'm a trucker) and didn't make it back to Phoenix till Thursday afternoon. I'm hoping to make a meet-up game with ya...keep up the great work Lex
Hey Lex thx 4 putting out this video. The hands werent as exciting as some of your other sessions but it was very workmanlike poker. I reckon most ppl watching the channel are playing small stakes anyway
Just got my first Royal on GG poker. After twenty years of play. Two days later I come in second place and during the final table got my second Royal. “Running Good”!!!
Lex u got me good. I thought u really folded the boat. I literally said out loud wtf r u serious. Lol glad u didn't really fold nice hand brother. Really have enjoyed watching your journey the last year.
Great video besides the joke on folding your full house, I just thought it was tad in the corny side 🤪. But I did like the tips on poker! Thanks bro, keep them coming!
Thank you for finally putting a tip session while playing which make me understand the game better however I don’t know what. A high jack position is or low jack , I don’t think it is small blind or big blind please explain
Great vlog and I guess your tip was right small stakes players only raise for value when you hand the pocket aces and villain turned over pocket nines for a full house . Royal flushhhh!!
I just turned 21 but been playing for 3 years, bought in for $185 and cashed out $460 at 1-2 blinds in two and a half hours, going back next week pretty interested to see how it goes the second time around
thank you I'm gin to use this idea..totally just had a beat that I just did bad play Q's and he flops a 5 had pocket 5"s for the win I had QK so overvalue the hand when I seen the flop with Q 5 9 he bet like he had it just he been betting crazy but your right I'm using this same at my next day for the gold.
Very sound advice for low limit no limit. I 100% agree with all the points that you made. You don't practice what you preach though. The AA hand is clearly a bet/fold. The other hand where the guy had 79 is another clear bet/fold spot, no matter the price given. I'm not just saying this being results oriented.
Never hit a Royale in live play 😤 great tips 👍 I play 1-3 tried 2-5 handful of times but seems like there is more gambling than poker, so I'm trying to get better before I can gamble more of my bankroll✌
Interestingly enough my first ever in 22 years royal flush that happened November 25, 2021 was also a diamond royal and I also turned it. My pocket cards were queen Q10 of diamonds
I wish there was 1/2 in Washington. I would have to go down to portland Oregon to go play that, but it is cool because the rake is low so I might for funsies sometime
Calling for ‘only 200 more’ is the mantra of people who lose unnecessarily. You knew better. Oh well, I love listening to your honest comments are very educational for me. Good luck this year
Love the content, I’ve been watching since day one :) Also, just a little ironic: Posting the title of this one in a session where you booked a small loss ;) Glad we’re not results oriented 😜
