A blocker bet around 80$ on that 7-8 hand would have saved you some money on the River. By checking, you basically have leveled yourself to be bluff catching with 2pair. It’s an obvious fold if your 80$ gets raised. It’s a small adjustment to our game that can save us money and that’s why we’re there to win pots and manage our losses to a minimum amount. You’re playing winning poker though and I truly enjoy watching your videos. Best of luck!

When your playing Ax suited your bets need to be on the larger size. When you raise 20 in a 2-5 game, your going to get the waterfall effect. 1 calls now the next guy is priced in and so on and so your getting called in 3-4 spots. Raise larger and take a flop 1-2 ways

When you have showdown value out of position and you're hoping it goes check/check, you have to learn to put out a bet and be prepared to fold to a raise. You put out a blocker bet there and he has noway at all to know you don't have a 9, so he just calls.
@georgeminasidis7808

There's a lot of comments here and I'm not about to go through all of them to see if this was already mentioned, but I saw an clear tell on the 7 5 3 8 6 hand when you were holding top 2. When you look back at the video, villains fingers slightly tremble as he's putting in the river bet. Ok, itsnot that clear, you really have to pay attention. But what I meant by clear is, he'd only tremble when he has a strong hand. From my experience, people don't have that emotional reaction when they're bluffing.

Well done bro.... Get the nerves out and start playing bigger.... In the 87 hand when you drill top 2, in my mind you should've bombed the turn... If you bomb the turn and get raised you can still fold.... Betting half pot on a table like that is basically checking... Unless your hand is nutted, you should never make an invitation bet. Gotta protect your hands

It's an extremely inexpensive leak, but it'll occur quite often. Your call on the river (A6) A Q J 9 5 snaps off a bluff MAYBE once in ten tries, and earns you a chop once in a lifetime. Note: Though I'm not sure this specific opponent was a great candidate, a pot sized raise probably succeeds > 80% of the time.

I think had you raised with the 87o hand, the villain wouldn't have played 74o. If you're gonna play marginal hands, then raised pre-flop to isolate premium hands. Especially in limped pots. His straight wouldn't have got there because he wouldn't be in the hand in the first place. Keep playing those hand to keep your range wide. But play aggressive to Isolate

The lesson about sticking to your ranges is definitely valid if the game is playing right at all, but in live poker, that wouldn’t be the MOST profitable play because you could exploit most opponents mistakes post flop even with marginal preflop holdings. Toeing that line is my biggest leak in live poker imo, great videos

Man, when he put in the $5 and said "It;s a chop" you should have just dead pan said "Is it?" and then just slid your whole stack in and see what happens. I mean, you're basically free rolling at that point. He has a king, and not with a 10. He's just told you that. Does he want to bet the rest of his stack that you DIDN'T just hit K10? Maybe. But you've got little to lose at that point. Would've been extremely funny either way.

On straight board texture, two pair is bluff catcher. And in mostly case, you cannot beat anyone. Another two pair? Top pair? Over pair? Almost 90%, you lose to simple straight (4 or 7 is not problem). Just simple throw it away, you will lose less money.
@karnasum9430
@karnasum9430 3 года назад
Quick note to your pocket deuces hand at the beginning. Imo putting money in the pot against three other players is not good, since you only have 4 outs (A). Also your straight could even be dead by now. (6 7 OS is in the limping range of live players) Even a 2 would put a 4 liner on the board, so you are not getting paid, except you make a running full house. Pocket deuces is the worst holding you can have in this situation, completing from the big blind. good vlog lad. greetings from germany

@PokerBeast all Poker players have this problem including me, it's called GREED! As poker players we need 2 b disciplined when we have a big chip stack. Now if u have AA-JJ or another premium hand, now if u want 2 call n a limp pot with any 2 cards ( u know as well as I do, that any 2 cards can win), ok np, but if u do not smash the flop, then fold, this will mix up ur game 2 confused the other players on what u might have when u have the nuts! I hope that helps u out some and also make u more profitable!
