How To Beat The Giant | Dead Cells Boss Guide

first time going against the giant i went to this guide, using a sym lance brute build, and when i heard him say "things like the sym lance and nutcracker are just too slow" i went shiittt

Try fighting this dude on Nightmare (4 BC) and get ready to say goodbye to your sanity if you do. I've tried SO MANY TIMES

Turrets are amazing in this fight. Place them, parry bullets/punches jump over the flames.

Not mentioned; you can parry any projectile with a shield, and his side punch.

I found that when he fully charged his right (left from camera perspective) it will create the circle bullet pattern attack as shown in the video, but if he charged his other arm fully he will slam the arena multiple times in quick succession, creating the fire wave each time.

Note to all if using cursed sword for this yellow beams hurt you

Sooo, I know this is kind of an old video, but wanted to say it helped me get through the fight, knowing what to expect for my first time facing him. Went in on 1BSC, Electric Whip/Heavy Turret/Double Crossb-o, 17 Tactics and absolutely minced him. Honestly thought the fight would be a bit more difficult but I'm not complaining. Guessing it will be tougher on higher BSCs. Thanks for the video, though!

Im a soul knight player and recently deadcell and soul knight have collab-ed and this boss was added as a World 1 boss (easiest realm). It is comically easy to fight him as he only have 3 moves there (and only 1 is strong, the other 2 can be dodged by using walls placed in the room). The boss feel much harder here! I wish soul knight would add more attacks or remove the walls to make it more of a challenge 🤣

The yellow laser beams deal damage if you touch it.

if you use the kings scepter you can get out of the eyebeams

Your guide helped to beat the Giant although i tried a diff approach .Had 1 crossbomatic , phaser , assasins dagger and 1 bow that i didnt use much on this fight ...most items did poison damage + and released toxic cloud and poisoned enemy...the hands were constantly poisoned /dying fast and was spamming phaser and melee with assasins dagger....poor boss lasted maybe 1 minute....But still tnx cause u explained the bosses phases well... :)

Well it took me 2 hrs straight with my thumbs sore just to beat the giant! on 4BC and the reason they are sore is because i played from 2BC To 4BC

Wings of the crow makes you basically invulnerble because it lets you fly also high damage weapons are the best in my opinion

This is the hardest fucking game ive ever played

You can parry the shots.

Dodge,duck,dip,dive, and dodge

Use cacoon for giant it deflects all bullets

IMPOSSIBLE. You can't focus on the eye beams, the hands, and the fireball patterns all at the same time and the eyeball time frame lasts too short. That, or I need to Git Gud. Oh, and the floor is aflam with lava to the sides.

I wish i watched this before attempting him. I never hit the eyes. I think I will get gud before trying him again.

(Granted I fought him on only 1BC and had a really good load out) But that was really easy. I was worried he would be like the hand of the king, who I lose to 3 out of 5 times. Nope, I only used 1 health potion.

Ngl tho the giant fight made me feel sad

Whips don't cause damage to the eye that pops up. I think some kind of bug

You missed one move when he is slamming periodically across the platform. Also you should be showing it on 4 Cell mode not on 0 or 1 cell mode on which every boss is easy.

Been trying to do this forever. Even with assist mode minimum enemy health+damage (20%) and infinite revives, my build is meat skewerer, war spear, lightspeeed, and war spear

I had a weapon that dealt 1500 DPS but I swear i was doing like no damage i was in like 7 damage phases and I used up every second wailing on the boss with my javelin but I didnt even activate his second phase

I've been trying to get the 5th boss cell forever now I see some of the playthroughs and their weapons are super super jacked up how do they get them to be so expensive and high quality what do I need to do to get more high quality weapons I haven't found a video yet that talks about it.

First time I got here I had the assassins dagger as my main weapon, let’s just say things did not go well at all

I died... I didn't know the eye ball was his health... I was doing great, got oteh second point so fast, almsot instantly wit hte owl ability, and dodging was easy, but as soon as those lasers beams were out I was taking liek 400 a pop, and htought it was the beams beacsue of the choas, going on, lol. I guesss it was his projectiles, but I thought it was beams and was liek this si bullshit, but mainly because I kept trying ot dodge roll through them... wasting my dodges for the projectiles... I get weird builds, this build was a owl, Tellrite smasher build with legendary lance, which I guess makes up for arriving at it with... 16/3/3 I always never find enough of those upgrades, no mattrer if I explore the whole level of not.. just never. >

Tried to use the left claw and right claw and let’s say.... that didn’t work. None other of f my attacks registered or hit even though they looked like they did

finally made it to him for the first time with 6100/21000 with no flask. you can guess what happened after that(im one cell)

my first fight with the giant I won and it was very easy, what I can surely suggest to anyone who will offend him is that the fight will be twice as hard if you don't have a shield with you

If you have the bird of war you can do a custom game and get 2

I have 13/9/10 and I'm doing next to 0 damage to this boss with a war spear. The only difference is I'm running difficulty 4. Short of infinite hp I don't see how he can be beaten.

I have flint x-s ice blastix-L a turrent and mushroom boi on 3bc. The flint does hairs I health and it never hits the eye when I'm on the fist, This is truelly unbeatable with that handy cap of not hitting the eye on the god damn fist. Whatahould I do I don't want to start a new run just for this asshole again?
