If you can find a brand centric degree (eg Brand Management), then head in that direction. What you'll find is that the Marketing centric degrees are more prominant. It's still a good direction, but many curriculums haven't evolved to the enhanced importance of brand

A degree in psychology is a huge advantage because in essence, building a brand is about understanding the psychology of the consumer to influence their perceptions
Brand management is the most coolest job in the world, no hate for others but young people nowadays are obsessed with computer science and coding lol it's so boring plus studying cs is useless. Marketing is the most coolest, demanding, high paying field to study and work in.
