Just a note here from someone who has the receiver. The first four channels will work fine. Channel 5 is a kill switch channel. Which means it's binary. On and off. If you want to use it with full PWM movement you need to go into the device itself and switch it to channel 6. So anything on that airplane that's using channel 5 will not work properly unless it's updated in the internal web site

To use these elrs receivers (ER5A and ER5C) do I necessarily need an elrs module in the radio (like the range, micro or nano)? Or its possible to use within long range? Thanks!

You guys need to make more of the version difference as my ELRS backpack was on version 3.0 and would not connect to any receivers that the versions were different and the receivers would not update to version 3.0 so had to revert my transmitter to version 2.5.

Does the ER5A receiver only operate in ELRS mode? As in if I had a 4 in 1 TX16 I'd have to purchase the ELRS module that goes in the back to use this line of receivers?

my modul have a pairing phrase , should i build the phrase too for my RX from configurator ?

Hey guys I just got this radio X16S it’s the ELRS version. I been trying to bind the Radiomaster R88 to it . Does that mean I can only bind ELRS receivers. Or do I have to update my firmware . Thank you

I had a problem with this exact setup. The ESC and brushless motor worked fine, however when I tried adding a servo to the setup (9g micro servo), it only worked for a second and now doesn’t work at all. I tried again and got the same result with a different servo. Any tips?

If the tiny ELRS receiver supports FPV, I don't understand why the bigger PWM receiver with pins and a plastic casing cannot support FPV! Why can't airplanes have FPV with this receiver whereas whoop drones can?

Hey guys, great video! Got myself some er5a receivers. Now when I connect them, the servo’s in my plane make a buzzing noise. Is this fixable or better to ignore?

If ELRS is to continue to grow as a system it needs to stabilize and to be as simple as SPECTRUM otherwise the general old timers that are the mainstay of the RC Hobby are not going to buy into this system and it's going to die for lack of sales. IT NEEDS TO BE SIMPLE AND FOOLPROOF
