Many thanks. I cancelled my therapy session when I found this. How could anyone know this stuff from the manuals written in Chinglish. The only advice I would give to a noob like me is don't try this with the latest version of Cleanflight. It will either not recognise the quad or ask you to flash the firmware. You don't want to do that. You will notice that the tutorial here by our good friend is using Cleanflight version v1.2.4 . That is the version you want. There is an excellent tutorial on how to install this older version if you google it. When I did the install and then followed this video, the quad came to life. Thanks man!!!
Thanks for instructions for binding, cause i had some problems binding with my x7. Mine didn`t even come with instructions. E010S is super stable to fly. I flashed BF3.2.1 and everything works great. Awsome camera on this one.
Thanks for this video. I get mine next week and this helps. FYI you can change the Taranis to default to AETR. in fact when I bought mine and Taranis it came default to to AETR and I had to change it to TAER because I was coming from Spek.
+robodragonsdf1 yea I actually did that the first time and was going to record that. But since I couldn't get it to work without going into Cleanflight anyway I figured it's easier to just change it there.

+stillcool40 you update the firmware with OpenTX companion www.open-tx.org/downloads you much have the "no heli" load on yours. Update and make sure that is not selected.

Hello, thanks for that good video, big help. I had to install v 1.2.4 cleanflight to make it works. But have a trouble : top radio that interrupt signal roughly sometimes. And tx makes messy "beeps" before or after i get top radio. Maybe i should bind with more distance between quad and tx ? (My tx : turnigy 9xr module djt open tx). Any idea ? Also, on cleanflight tx setup, i see on receiver screen aux 5 bar moving randomly, as on your video 6mn28. What is that aux 5 ? Thanks again ! i have good times with e010s and eachine ev100 googles.
What version did you buy? FLYSKY, FRSKY, DSM. Not sure what these mean. I want to bind with my DEVO 10w/Deviation installed. Which version(FLYSKY, FRSKY, DSM) E010S should I buy? Still deciding on Cleanflight or Betaflight. Thanks for your reply.
I'm wondering if this same process will work for the eachine novice 1.. I'm having a heck of a time getting it working with my Taranis.. its bound but only two sets of props will spin together.. never all four.. so no lift-off..
Hi mate, thanks for the video. I can't get mine to work, :-) Basically it won't go into bind mode, seems some settings are messed up, and I forgot to backup. It would be nice if you were just to go thrugh all the pages slowly, and all the settings on Cleanflight so I can see how you have set up the configuration, becouse I don't know how to set that up. I found the instructions online in english but whatever I do it just won't work. I have tried to flash and reflash, and also to make new models on my taranis. First I set the Taranis in bind mode and then put the FC into bind mode by pressing the button while connecting to USB. the blue LED just flashes really fast, and nothing happens, I even tried moving away from the quad, about 5 to 10 meters. Is it broken? Or have I set up something wrong.. I flashed Betaflight on it though. V.3.2.2. (SPRacing)
Thanks for the video. you got me what I think is 3/4 taranis seems fine but I can't see any throttle changes/rudder movements in Betaflight. any ideas?
+Dante3025 Are you sure it's bound to the radio? Does the radio yell at you about critical signal like mine does in the video? If you are bound and it is yelling at you try moving the radio further away from the quad. That is one issue that is worse with the E010S than anything else I've used. It's really sensitive and will lose signal if the radio is to close.
+Dante3025 If you haven't tried it move the radio about 6 feet away and see if that fixes it. If it doesn't check the inputs and mixer sections of the radio and make sure they are both set. That is around minute 3 of the video.
+Mark Sherman oh yea. I was going to check this weekend and forgot. I don't think so though. With the 1S drones I don't worry about it. They stop flying before the batteries get to low in my experience.
Mine are coming down at 3.1-3.2V, which is much lower than 3.5 I normally land with if I can get my Taranis to give me a warning. I think telemetry is working cause I am getting RSSI, but no VFAS. One other reviewer said he was getting it. I'll give up if you break the tie with a "no VFAS". THX.
So you're not getting it now? I think it would show up on Betaflight if you connect and plug in a battery - my brushless quads don't show battery voltage until I plug one in, then it shows on the top of the setup tab in BF (and on the config tab). With the E010S, it shows the battery voltage as 4.9-5.1V when I plug in the USB and connect. Plugging in the 3.7V flight battery does nothing...Guess I'll go with the timer until your video!
Hi, I recently got one of these bords but I can't bind it, but I was able to flash it. It seems to be in bootloader mode constantly and I don't know what to do. any ideas? The blue led keeps flashing really quickly when I press the bind button and connect either battery or usb. It has been doing this from the start. maybe it is busted? it came with a white sticker with a FS sticker on it, wich I hope means FrSky, since I have a Taranis XD9+ and I followed all youtube instructions, and the banggood guides and I still can't get it to bind. Am I doing something wrong?

Help please. I'm bound to my Taranis, set up clean flight like you with SE being arm. However as soon as I plug in my battery the props start spinning without me moving SE.
+Brad Miles the E010S has a usb port on the bottom. Just need a micro usb cable and then plug it into the computer. Is that what you meant? The E010 and E010C don't have the port if you have one of those.
DroneRacer101 ...gotcha. I have a e010 but not the e010s. didn't realize the S model had micro USB. I wish the e011 had a USB port and could bind with Taranis. thx for the reply.
+sammy6770 does your have the bind button? I heard they may have changed. What firmware are you running on it? And are you sure you are in D8 on the radio.
I've followed all the steps on your video several times. When I plug in the battery the motors go full throttle. When I go to flight modes, angle mode is not automatically assigned. I have a Taranis Qx7. Before I changed the settings the motors weren't spinning automatically and angle was auto assigned in flight modes. Resetting the settings doesn't fix these issues. Can anyone help?
great video. Hower, the E010s I bought in September 2017 came without any bind button (!!). They changed the design of the board. Can anyone help and let me know how I can start the bind process without the button?
+dg1001 dg1001 If there is no bind button it probably goes into bind mode if it doesn’t bind with anything in 8 seconds. That is how a lot of them without bind buttons work. It is a FrSky version correct?
Hi- Many thanks for the great video, but for a (newbie with FPV quads), I'm having a problem I hope someone can help with. When I go into Cleanflight with the E010S connected, I'm told I need to update the firmware. When I go to the update section, I can't find the "board". (According to the instructions I have a F3+frysky flight controller but there is no update choice for this.) What board and other firmware update settings should I use to get Cleanflight to work? Did you load the drivers? That is usually the gottcha. When you first open Cleanflight it will have a link to the drivers right in the middle of the screen. But, the instructions are not all the clear. What board specifically are we supposed to use for the e010s? I can't seem to find anywhere that tells exactly what the board shows up as in the firmware flasher. IS it the SPRACINGF3EVO? I don't see one for "F3 EVO brushed" like it says the e010s has...
DroneRacer360 In OpenTX 2.1.5 and upper there is D8 protocol if you uncheck eu box in settings of radio in OpenTX Companion. I hope it would work with E010S with no messing around with reflashing. Thank You!

+Mark Novak you mean how it stops working when it is close to you? I don't think that is really intentional. It think the built in receiver just gets overpowered. I haven't looked into though. Now I have look. :-)

+Simon Devantier com 3 is probably your PC. Does a new number show up when you plug in the drone? If not try a different cable. You may have a charging only cable.
i got it connected now. i did all the steps but when i plug a battery into the mini, it goes about 25% throttle and will not be controlled by my controller.
+Paisley Are you sure your channels are mapping right? Check 6:30 in the video and make sure all of your channels move the way they should on your radio.
