So how do you break through guard? I usually play arcade fighters which are about blocking low or high, but I'm not sure how offense works in this game

The more tired they are, the weaker the block gets. Mostly timing in the early rounds, catching them with their block down. But certain punches at certain angles can get thru the guard. Going to the body can def help if the opponent is shelling up.

Not gone lie I didn’t look up a damn thing. Make a build that plays to your boxing style. Use my first tutorial on footwork and go against that AI I made with the settings I use and just try out builds.

@@notjitterz Hey I still fight that fucking AI multiple times when I do hop on fight night 😂 I’m not amazing at the game bro I still have to practice especially after not uploading for so long. You’ll be fine! I started with Legacy mode also.

You should crouch down into body punches. For head punches twist your head back and away from the punch.

This video we're watching is really good but there is another that covers blocking too.

He’s right about crouching on body. I just prefer to step away and make em hit air mostly. I planned on having advanced versions of all these tutorials way later.

It’s def possible. Honestly easier if you combine footwork and weaving punches(tutorial on weaving this week then we move to offense!)

I’d honestly recommend it. Blocking should mostly be used for making your opponent miss! I really appreciate the comments. They really motivate me to get more content out.

Also, upon further thought, you could immediately throw a jab or straight, but you’d have to move RIGHT after. You’d potentially be open for a strike if they throw a combo!

You need to wear down their stamina. It makes the block much less effective. Use footwork and lean forward while blocking to get away from body spammers. Offensely you’d want to go to the body also but do it better than them.

@@ChicoTooCold thanks for the tip ... I'll incorporate more footwork and body punching.... But I swear I'll back step power punch no effect and when I do stun they daze for like 1 second and their fighter is ok back pressuring me

@@dissinlol just keep catching them and winning rounds. Chasing a knockout is how YOU get knocked out. Play to win and the knockdowns will come. I’ve never been going for a KO in any of the videos on my channel. They just happen due to good boxing on my part and bad boxing on theirs. Got a new full fight vid with commentary where I’ll show how to counter people who use the push!
