You are so correct about delays. I traveled on the Calif Zephyr last May and my arrival to Sacto was delayed 8 hours! I expected a delay ( not 8 hours🥴), so it wasn’t an issue. I also received a $200 credit because of the delay. I have another trip planned for next year using the credit. Even with the delays, I love Amtrak. I’m enjoying your videos. Happy travels to you!
I found the whole video helpful to be honest. I am looking to see if I can do a fall foliage trip soon. The information about the icon was super helpful. It will keep me mindful to book a trip that does not have transfers.
