I also have a question 😁 I want to start a book tube channel but I'm German. I want to keep it 'international' so more people can watch my videos but I think my English isn't good enough that I can sit in front of a camera and say everything I want in English. Do you think it'd be okay if I put English subtitles under my video even if it isn't 100% correct but at least people understand it?

After watching RU-vid videos of books and makeup, recently I got inspired to finally start doing my own. I've always loved books and didn't know there was this huge community built upon it. These types of videos are very helpful to get a channel started. However, I like how you say be yourself and do it because you enjoy it not for subscribers, etc. Since i've started getting back into reading, I feel like it's becoming a passion and something I love. It does make me sad sometimes when I don't see many people taking an interest in the videos I post, but every time I make a video and share it, I'm so happy. It just makes me smile when I open up another book and get to share it with the world even if it is an old book people have already read a bunch of times. Thank you for putting out this video as a booktuber who is a huge inspiration for myself and just in general to get more booktubers to begin a new journey in their life. :) p.s. sorry for the long comment XD

This is by far one of the best videos I have seen on how to start a RU-vid channel, no matter what the content you're making is. I just discovered this whole BookTube thing, turns out just in time for the booktube-a-thon (had no idea that existed either, but I'm definitely excited)... My sister and I are about to start a channel, and this stuff is definitely helpful for sure. Thankfully, I'm so into booktube, and so is she (and reading, we already do most of this stuff). We definitely appreciate and and all advice though, because hearing about people who have already figured all of this out, makes everything so much easier, you know? Plus, I just love hearing about how people started their channels, and how things have worked out for them, because i find that sort of stuff interesting. PS, your bookcase is gorgeous (I could never alter how I organize, because it's all by last name, but I love your rainbow)
