Omg this video is asmr this is literally 100% water proof. The only thing I’d change is the way you laid the sealer under the door in lines doing vertically up and down and just 1 going diagonal on the inside so if water gets in I can flow out
I'm installing an exterior door between dining room and garage so flashing tape not necessary. Water is not an issue here, only temperature as the garage isn't heated. I'll put the sill pan directly on the ceramic tiles and concrete lip of the slab on the garage side. The OSI foam is definitely a must as to not let heat out of the house as the garage is not insulated.
Yes the WRB white wrap should be cut longer by at least 4 inches & wrap around stud/frame as well. Sealant is the real star with this system. If water got on white wrap it then goes under foil tape & onto timber frame especially since you cut the WRB away from the stud (why) - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZFfJ2HTRUeU.html
I guess youve never went to replace a door and found a rotted rim sill that you had to cut out and repair by ripping the floor up and turning a 2 hour max door install into an all day repair job.
