All you need is a cvf intercooler , drop in filter and a e30 tune from PD or tuneplus. With that you’ll run 8.0 maybe 7.9s at the 1/8. Intake downpipe etc aren’t worth it on stock turbo.

I'm FBO on 93 and methanol injection with upgraded turbo and a relatively safe tune. Put down 402whp/436rwtq on the dyno and I was pretty surprised with those numbers. Took 26psi to get there, but the car stayed reliable. I'm now in the process of building the block to handle more power and torque. Great information in this video. The tuning aspect is the most important factor in my opinion

350 is too east just hit it with the cobb tune roush air intake performance spark plugs from ngk engine crank case from upr that did it for me and you get rid of that nasty 120 speed limiter but if you want more bolt on bow id go with a exhaust or the ford performance throttle body and if you dont mind messing with you computer get a down pipe and intercooler

My brother took his ecoboost to National Speed in Richmond VA and had the Stage 3 package installed. He already had charge pipes and some aftermarket exhuast but with everything said and done he made 351whp/422rwtq FBO and 93 tuned. Airraid intake tube with stock airbox and drop in filter, ETS big intercooler with charge pipes, TurbosmartBOV, IGW75 wastegate with 10lb spring, NGK colder spark plugs, JLT catchcan, Stainless works hi flow catted downpipe, ACCELETAC catback, and custom dyno tune on 93. Also new low pressure fuel sensor and EVAP purge valve. Stock turbo. Hes pulled on multiple 392 Scatpacks and 6th gen camaros

Good vid. FBO (larger intercooler, pipes, high flow catted downpipe with cat back -all 3"-, sealed air box,) and a 93 stage 3/pro tune will get you around 350 wheel. im missing the downpipe and airbox to really open up my air flow but i make around 310 on an OTS tune with a trans tune added. once I fix the air flow restrictions and get a pro tune on e30 it will get closer to 375 wheel. Going to probably redo the fuel pump to high pressure for e85 and try for close to 400. Agree with the intercooler advice at 11:00. I put a big all metal block on and its bee great vs the stock one with plastic inlet/outlet. My inlet temps, even after some spirited driving, are like 5-8 degrees over ambient. i havent brought it to the strip yet but im sure that would really bring the temps up with all the hard pulls + sitting around with no fresh air hitting the IC.

JB4 give you most of wait you need. If you want to step in to E30 /or meth you just hit a button and add some values. You don't have to go get on a dyno and dial it in. It wont get you 400whp. but, around 350 with a turboback exhaust, intercooler, and intake filter is possible. I have 2022 Ranger Tremor with an afe rapid cold induction intake, JB4, on E30. A 3 MBRP catback right now with the Go Fast bits Recirc valve for the turbo response. It has to be north of 320. Once CVF releases their 2022 downpipe, i'll drop that and their intercooler into it. Hopefully gets me in the 340-50whp range. For me it is the torque and responsiveness that matters most. I am not pushing much over 100mph. I just cruise around looking for Ricers and full size truck fanboys. The Truck nuts see the little Ranger that could, That is until I get up on it and blow away their $80K coyote/3.5 ecobust powered fatboxes. The power to weight is great for the 2.3l EB when modded. Plus It can go more places on less fuel, tow about as much as most people will ever need, and fit in to just about any parking spot. All that under 40K loaded with offroad capabilities and awesome suspension.

@@8020Media because by the time you dump money into an ecoboost you could have just bought a 5.0. And it’s an ecoboost sounds like ass it will never be a 5.0. Leave it alone it’s a commuter car with a pony car shell. Plus ford has an issue with ecoboost turbo they are built like ass. We have a bunch of ecoboosts in our truck fleet and compared to the 5.0 trucks which by the way are cheaper. The 5.0 last longer and can pull more weight for long periods of time. The 5.0 is a better motor with less external parts to break. My point is buying an already overpriced ecoboost then putting more money into it to make stock gen 1 coyote numbers, while also reducing the reliability just doesn’t make any sense money wise. As far as doing it because you want to be different then go ahead I respect it. It’s lighter and probably would make a better corner car. But if you want overall performance from a mustang in the same price range. It would be a much better option to go 5.0. Then again just my opinion people like what they like I respect it, I just personally wouldn’t ever put money into an ecoboost or buy one.
@carsandmoredemarion6338
@carsandmoredemarion6338 Год назад
And yes it’s lighter, quieter, and good on gas. Which makes my point it’s a commuter car to get you a-b ford made it like that for a reason. People made the 3.7 v6 fast back in the day which was cool but a 3.7 was a lot cheaper too. I look at these ecoboosts for sale and they are in 2nd gen coyote range for prices. It’s not really cheaper after you mod to try and keep up with a coyote. Better gas mileage i don’t see as a valid point. The 5.0 gets really good gas mileage for the power and it’s really not that much less mpg. It’s quieter I get that, yes it is but people put exhausts on them when they’re trying to make power so that’s now out the window. It’s good at what it was made for. A-B commuting. It’s not a race car nor should it be. If you want v8 power buy a v8. But again that’s money wise and my opinion. If you’re trying to stand out and have a quick 4 cylinder mustang just because you can and it makes you smile. Go ahead 350 hp is 350hp it’s a decently fun power range. I get the appeal it just doesn’t make sense to me personally.
