recently bought a 2013 g37x & have been looking to learn more about this engine, appreciate how in depth you go with everything this information is difficult to come by, going to be studying your videos for the next few weeks, it’s crazy you don’t have more followers
Awww...thank u dood...I'm not very tech savvy. Lol..if anybody has suggestions for how to get more followers; I'm all ears..also if u have a subject u want covered..post in the comments, I take requests 🤗
Super excited that I found your channel Seth! Going down the path of building a reliable 400rwhp NA G37 for weekend fun and occasional track days (I know FI is easier, but just don't want to mess with it).
Just go for a stroker crank, ultralight rods, big dome pistons, exhaust cams, light cylinder head porting, quality intake manifold, throttle upgrade....on motor orrrr nitrous it will pull shockingly harder than people would think...choose your clutch and gearing wisely 😉 it can be a nasty setup...just very rare🤭
What do you think about a light rebuild what else should I buy for forged internals for a light rebuild around 750-800whp cams, rods piston, retainers head studs anything else?
Factory main bolts, arp head studs, cometic gaskets, stock crank, ati damper, bc rods, wiseco pistons, css deck mod and o-ring, jwt exhaust cams, long bolt kit, springs etc....800@tire all the time with an easy 900whp ceiling 👌 😀
@@sethjoyner391 another question you touch transmission at all? Cuz I want to build the trans also maybes better valve body torque converter what else you think?
@VQVaughn I typically only mess with manuals and dct...however, I have seen people have success with level 10 trans....I would definitely suggest a gnarly trans cooler
