I have not yet watch all the videos on this subject that touch have made. It is my intention to do so! I love to build a v8 trike with with a 350 chevy. In florida I most start from an existing frame that have have a Vin if I want it to be street legal. So I understand(?). What motorcycle neck do you recommend to handle the wight?
triple tree trails look bad for braking and also for steering. the weight of the bike pushing down on the front bottom of the tyre is reduced. Still same grip area but less downforce due to the body weight sitting behind the fork base.. Be interesting to see two bikes side by side one with a triple and one with a standard trail doing speed braking tests.. What do you guys think?
Very well explained. I'm not even really interested in bikes, but the engineering and reasoning was very informative about why bikes are designed as they are.
Here’s one 10 years ago.? I wonder where all these people are at now. I feel like I’m on here by myself. Trying to learn how to build a frame. Anybody home.
I do not envisage the opportunity to comment on a four Y.O. video but.... Around minute 5:40 you say: "It's possible to end up with a negative trail, where the wheel axys is behind the steering axys" That's the condition that gives you a positive trail, if I am not wrong. Thanks for the otherwise informative video.
