@@NorthforkNetwork can you simply explain the steps of Flipping the helper leaf, like how to go about getting to lay flat enough to clamp it and bolt it back together , I understand how to separate them...and the next question is would I be better flipping it or mono leafing it with the helper still there. I want the truck low but I want to be able to slide it so I know it needs to be stiff

@@durtysouthkustomz8862 i have not owned the red truck since 2017, so i cannot go back and film that. with that said do you have lowering blocks and new u bolts i never attempted that with stock u bolts. and keep as many liefs in as you can mono lief is very soft will usually hop like crazy.

There alot cheaper than the single cabs too at least in my area

i built a KA std cab truck before this, pics @skid_mini on insta , you would need a v6 truck to pop this in here, the wiring harness and trans and diff is different all to make slightly more TQ (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Uoa1xxNJvpk.html) it would be less work to buy a 2wd pathfinder and convert the front suspension in my book. and have the benefits of the rear gas tank and 4 link not to mention you could build a crewcab out of it if you wanted to . but with that said a 4cyl HB can get down as well.

in this day and age though if you go to drift truck community on Facebook or poke around the drift thread on infamous Nissan you can find all this stuff with the exception of beebani customs on Instagram.

i no longer own the red truck so no i cannot ... but it was a 3 inch block with the flipped overload lief so its about 3.5 inches of drop. the brake lines come with missile works knuckle kit eather one you order.

Single cab, 14 inch aluminum wheels. Heeder pipe. Drop spindles. And good 4 link setup in back. 2.4 liter with that sohc. And some Good worn out drag radial

after market 4x4 wheels for those had the larger bore size usually ,the factory bore size is to small.

never saw this comment for some reason i have been in contact with the owner of experimental engineering for a custom oil pan in the past and i have seen his vg33/vg30 stuff and the carb conversion. i wont be doing eather but its definitely an option.

i used machine screws with washers and nylon nuts, since i mistakenly made it way too thick, i made the one on the new Tacoma thinner and used rivets i recommend that path.

the SE-V6 manual truck came with this axle, 4 cyl 2wd did not

i will have to do a video addressing this at some point but i need to put the truck on a lift to show it properly might be a while but i will get to it

the HG part refers to the h223b diff housing the 37 refers to the 3:73 gear so find a pathfinder or 4x4 with a door tag that says HG with an equivalent year to year so if you have 86.5 - 89 or 90-97 the third member 'should' just pop into your hg 37 non lsd setup but the pathfinders are more commonly LSD should have a marking or sticker saying limited slip but i wouldn't recommend a gear more than HG39 unless its only track use or heavy towing. but first check your door tag if it says HF35 that's a different axle. so then you would need to put in the whole h223b axle from a 2wd v6.

Shoot I actually have the hf37 I’ve been having no chance finding a lsd for it too. Thinking of welding the spiders or if I find a Pathy it’s going under the knife lol. it might be possible to take the lsd out of the pathy 3rd member and install it into the 373 3rd member because the part being changed is the spider gear section, and the axles are the same but i didn't personally do this did a nice plate weld and it worked great. oh and one more little secret you can take a center pull handbrake from a pathfinder and bolt it in to your truck the cabs are identical just match the 4door pathy with king cab and 2door pathy with std cab so the short cables match, when you pull up your carpet you will notice a triangular plate that you need to remove for the cables to go through.

Brennen Fisher i havent done it so i cannot speak for if its "worth it". i just wanted to improve what was allready there to show what it can do with more subtle mods. if you have seen the other track videos.

Brennen Fisher haven't done none of that but i bet it would be better to make it more easier but just if your gonna be towing with it thats on you but that would help with traction also

yes i use the stock engine. The hydro is for entries at higher speed and for a quick transition where a clutch kick might not have the power to effect the rear enough. As for 4link i haven't used one so i cant speak for it, my setup works fine without it, but do box the end of the frame and do get a rear sway bar the rear half of these chassis are very flexible and that turns into body roll.

tons of body roll so pretty much like mine if I can get it to drift so a sway bar and a hydro are the perfect mods

missleworks front knuckle kit hellwig rear swaybar and eather a nissan pathfinder center pull cable brake with a drift button or a properly installed levelride hydro and you should have a very decent start.

aim for how i modded the std cab i had before i got this, but get a 89 - 92 king cab 4 cyl KA Djm drop arms , missile works bolt on knuckles and brake lines, SE v6 front brakes, belltech 3 inch drop kit with new shocks front and rear, one piece driveshaft after you drop it, automatic 373 rear 3rd member swap door code HF37 weld it with plates before install, hellwig rear sway bar, pop a pathfinder center pull handbrake in it the holes for it are under the carpet in pre 93 ones , new rear drums and shoes trust me they lock up great. then a 205 or 195 50 0r 55 15 sticky front tire with nice wheels and eather the stock steelie 14's or alum 14's on a 185/60/14 rear tire when out at the track.

well you don't have to, to start the whole edit at the end is on stock power there is dyno video on the channel as well

on a budget while maintaining the stock suspension type its pretty good. Definitely alot of builds out there with full strut conversions n such .

Northfork Network yeah it didn't wheel hop when I drifted the truck stopped, it was after I installed the sheaf spring clamps, but yeah ill check out their instagram

about 3500 including buying it for 750$ but i had my hydro installed at a shop for 300$ The upper control arms were 400$ i bought the drop spindles 250$ and had them shipped to and from Colorado 100$ the hydro cost about 300 on its own and i bought nearly every new bushing i could and the driveshaft was 450$ i put new clutch and flywheel, motor and trans mounts new brakes all around ect and i toasted 2 v6 engines. you could defiantly put together something similar for quite a bit less or drop the difference in a 5.0 swap or something my grey truck that i built first cost me 1100$ had bolt on knuckle kit , a smaller driveshaft 325$ djm lower control arm drop in the front and the same rear leaf block flip . rear sway bar was 200$ an electric fan conversion and a welded 3:73 rear gear on the smaller 4cyl axle. and the pathfinder center pull cable brake conversion cost about 2500 in that truck including the truck cost. both worked well the grey std cab 4cyl lasted 5 years on 1 motor rotated quickly but could barely ever spin 3rd the red truck had even more angle rotated slower but had more torque but it took me 2 bad motors to find one good one.

a good technique can overcome just about anything. just think ae86's only make like 100 hp and 90 ft lbs to the tires. put a axle that allows a 4:11 and up gear in the rear. diesels usually take more fuel and boost easier than typical gas engines check out OBS skidmachine its a 5000lb fullsize truck but the diesel keeps the tires spinin.

The v6 is overweight turd. with good torque. Im sure you guys in finland got the napz z24i(8 spark plugs)engine then the ka24e. The z24i comes alive with a weber carb and the ka24e handles boost very well. You can put aftermarket 240sx ka24e engine parts onto the trucks ka24e. And both the z24i and ka24e headers have same bolt pattern.

keep in mind a couple holes will be missing since you have a bench but there should be holes or bolts in holes below your carpet in the corresponding spots. also note the brackets are for a corbeau seat i do not know if a nrg bride rep or sparco will bolt to it without tools

being able to adjust the front caster, for self steer. (let going of the wheel while in drift and it centers)

wow i got no update you replied. yes as much caster as the aftermarket arms would allow, but add some toe out as well especially if you have manual steering if you have power-steering add a cooler to your return line or you could loose powersteering when the fluid heats up too much.

some SE v6 2wd manual comes with it so in my case no . but if you pop it into a 2wd manual 4cyl it makes a very very noticeable difference.

well it ended up that a bolt in the head for the intake manifold was not holding enough tq so when the coolant pressure built up, it would get sucked in the intake then it ended up in the oil taking out a main.

if it was my 4cyl truck i might since i would only need to swap bell housings motor mounts and oil pan, but on the v6 truck naw.

yep i just threw the badge on because i liked the look of it., a lot of people are unaware that the d21 was built here in the USA.
