LOL, you sure your hitting 8lbs? You sure your not lean? YOU SURE YOU WANT TO DO THAT? I've got a 93 HB with a KA24E-T and I wouldn't do that. Get a megasquirt, get some fuel into that precious engine before you "poof" it.
Blew her up last year, but it was great. I used a FMU setup rather then a tune, got around 80k miles out of her before she popped. Cant be mad!@@d21edwin
I used a FMU setup brotha. For each pound of boost it would increase fuel pressure X amount. Only went through one set of injectors and got 80,000 miles out of the setup. So YES for 400 bucks Id do it again.@@jasonboness3871

Been thinking about turboing mine but have a few questions. What kinda HP gain do you get? Is it feasible to do to a D21 with 170k miles on it? And lastly what kinda over all cost is it (approximately)?
I really wish that you had listed the parts that you bought in the dis. Where did you get the T for the Oil Send? What's a PiggyBack on the Stock ECU? Cause @ $800 I really can't afford the MegaSquirt.
What do you mean by conform? 91-98 240sx cam with a dual cam KA is that’s what your asking. I wouldn’t be able to list all the part’s needed for a turbo there is way to many. I will try and make a post explains what I needed and what it all does
have you had issues with it blowing a head gasket mine blew like 3 but i ordered arp studs and a mls gasket and getting the head decked clean pressure checked and a 3 angle valve job done on it
Just my opinion but u should really keep that exhaust size.., just replace cat with test pipe and get a nice muffler! Truck doesn't have to be loud and raspy like other hardbodies...😔👍
Find a good standalone ECU like Megasquirt and contacting a tuner who can tune it after you assemble it. Don't turbo it this way. It's not safe, primitive, and won't last. This is just an assembly video.
CX Racing sells one. It's listed under D22 Frontier, but fits the D21 since they share the same dumb throttle body orientation. It's what I'm going to use on mine.
Swap is very straight forward, just the intake manifold it’s self and a couple plugs and vacuum line’s. Realistically there is no need unless the factory one is broken or you have an extra laying around.
Hey bro so I have a 2000 Nissan Frontier with the Ka24De with the dual camshafts I want to boost the engine I want to use a legit turbo like a Garett one but something smaller I only plan on running 5 pounds of boost.
