Thanks for making my day! I had a CAD program back in the day, But as I am Not computer literate. I use 1/4 x 1/4 graph paper. By taping several sheets together I "draft" my entire truck.
Thanks for breaking this down. We went camping alot. Nothing more sticky fun than running out from the tent or this case the habitat to the car and cab. Like you said all wet and dirty. 🌧 🌂 ⛈ ☔ 🌩 Another good point with wild life. 🐊🐆🦁🦖🐾🦥 I try to share your channel as often as I'm allowed 😉 ⚡👍
Another good way might be a series of neodymium magnets spaced every so often inside of one of the trims and some bullet pins and bushings to align it. Maiting magnets on the other surface inside of the cab
Maybe but he said shatterproof glass. Btw I would not use any of those materials for windows like acrylic, lexan or plexi because they are not scratch resistant.
Very well explained but you did not demonstrate the crawl through. If you were like me you might have to go into training to get through it. The only practical reason that I can see for having a crawl through is to send somebody back to grab a beer from the fridge - but then that is important to! Keep up the good work.
If you can buy parts, it is cheaper than custom fabrication. Is a passthrough 36X24 enough? Can the accordion boot be used in the reverse? Where as the lip is outward rather than inward? I found frames 36X24, with edges that can work with the accordion boot.
Mine is 32x24 so 36x24 is a decent opening. I placed the lip inwards just in case of a bigger torsion movement, the boot just pops off and can be reinstalled. If the lip is outwards the boot will rip apart.
I have ordered the J shape aluminum frame at my local flashing shop, I thought I said the measurements of the brake shape in the video ? Thanks for your question.
