Building a Smokehouse was a fun project and we enjoyed adding a few extras to our smokehouse. The EPIC Smokehouse has been a blessing to build. We are very proud of the way the design came together and the extras that we added. The smokehouse will only be in use for a few days a year, so we wanted it to be multifunctional. Suggestion for the flower planters: plant herbs in them. Toss in a sprig or two of fresh rosemary or sage for flavour.

This was just beautiful to see through to completion. The wood stocked to the side is so pretty! I love how you can see the varied wood grain and color. I love the thinking behind the hanging flower pots, cattle planters and water catchment, too! :) This really is a thing of beauty. What a joy and a wonder. Thank you for walking me through the features of the smokehouse today. EPIC result.

I would love to build this at my home. I'm a butcher of whole animals and I'm going to start processing deer in the near future in my barn. This smoker will be an ideal asset to my small business. I've 12+ acres so I can source all of my own would as well. Any unforeseen obstacles encountered during your build would be helpful if any. You did a superb job and I wish I had it in yard now. I'll start breaking ground within the week.

I watched the entire build. I saw the frustration in you face at times. I saw when something worked out and the glimmer came back. at the end I saw the excitement of what you had finished. This brought back memories of my grandpaw and his determination to complete something. I cant wait to start my page and show some of the thing I'm wanting to do on this 13 acre plot of land that the Good Lord has entrusted me with. It was part of my Grandparents homestead. Great job. I also smoke bacon and sausage. I have made and sold over 2500 lbs of bacon. The sausage i make is a family recipe i have been making for almost 40 yrs. Its a smoked pork sausage that is becoming very popular here in Wisconsin. Thanks again for the videos and ideas. My smokehouse is a 35 yr old 4 ft x 8 ft ice shanty

Love it brother Danny! Very nice work. I live in western NC and due to our evil world, I am curing a lot of meat, also making pemmican, so I was thinking that if y’all did the same, you could slide some trays in there, because most of the meat would be small slices. Pretty much like they did when we didn’t have refrigerators. You can store meat almost indefinitely if done right. Smoking is a huge plus on flavor. Well that’s my two cents, y’all have a blessed day.

This is also the only smokehouse in all of North America built strong enough that you could land an Apache helicopter on. I thought your other smokehouse was awesome, this one is a work of art! Well thought out, well planned and well built. I really like it. Thanks for such a well put together series on the building and testing of your smokehouse. I'll tell you what's the truth, Sir. You definitely have it going on with your skills brother. Growing up in the south where growing and raising our own, I have never had, or seen any better lifestyle than what we have. If folks would just stop and learn to smell the roses (so-to-speak) they might live a lot longer with total peace in their hearts. Thank You!!!
