How to build an arched arbor with double gate

This is awesome. I used this for a reference as I’m going to build on of these on Sunday for a client and they really liked the Arch idea. Those goats look mischievous for sure. Hopefully they done beat up that beautiful gate and arbor.

You are one clever woman. I envy you. I could never make this. Im trying to redo my house room by room and seeing other women take on these jobs has given me alot of encouragement. I've painted, made wall panels and soon be be ripping out cornices and skirting. Im learning how to cut the corners so they match up. But what you have made I don't think I could ever do. Mastering measuring and cutting has been an issue for me. But well done to you!

Woman, you rock! I’m a DIYer wannabe but don’t have the tools and/or know how. Cannot imagine tackling a project like this but enjoy the heck out of watching you do it. (I wanted to take “shop”, aka woodworking, in high school but only boys were “allowed” to so I had to take the dreaded “home economics”. What a shame! I think that has now changed, hopefully). ♥️

Hi Mizmy: Really enjoyed and appreciated the arched arbor with double video… lots of great step-by-step details and pointers on construction. I may be missing something, but it appears the link provided to the BHG plans are for a different arbor. Might the link be elsewhere? Thanks again for the video, and beautiful work! Matt

The only thing I would say is you need to put a foot of gravel down before you put the posts in the ground. Otherwise they will sit in water and rot over time
