Hello everyone! In today’s video I show you how to build an awesome quarter pipe! This is an easy build that YOU can do yourself with some simple tools and know-how.
I began with the free plans from DIY SKATE (linked below) and adjusted them slightly to get a longer deck and add some solid backing to the ramp!

I have listed all the tools and materials required below! This ramp is 1.5’ high x 4’ wide x 5’ deep. You can follow the same plans and extend the width as required by cutting the joists longer and using more surfacing material.
Tools Used:
- Jigsaw
- Power Drill
- Wood Drill Bits (3/16")
- Steel Drill Bit (3/16" & 3/8" Titanium Bits)
- Carpentry Clamps
- Tape Measure
- Chalk Line
- Marker/Pencil
Materials Required (For ONE Quarter Pipe):
Frames & Decking → (1pc) ¾” x 4’ x 8’ Standard Spruce Plywood
1st & 2nd Layer of Surfacing → (1pc) 3/8” x 4’ x 8’ Standard Spruce Plywood
Surface Layer → (1pc) ¼” Birch Plywood
Joists → (6pcs) 2 x 4 x 8' Dimension Lumber (Cut down to 12pcs at 3'-10-1/2")
Coping → (1pc) 2” Dia x 4’ Long Schedule 40 Steel Pipe
Threshold → (1pc) 8” x 48” 1/8” Thick Sheet Metal
Fasteners (Framing) → Lots of 2-1/2” Wood Screws
Fasteners (Surfacing) → 1-1/2” Wood Screws
