Learn how to tie together your invisible aka ballroom bustle.
This particular bustle uses clear donut beads, numbered with organza, and 3mm ivory ribbon to tie through the donut.
The edges of the ribbons are cut on a diagonal to assist with threading through the bead.
The result is a floor length gown without any bulk.
Invisible bustles take a different number of points depending upon the fullness of skirt. This used 5, but if we had used 7 it would have pulled up the last little bits. However as budget is a consideration the 5 did the job.
All ready for dancing the nutbush!
