I don’t think the bubble will pop. To many people renting which is more secure than mortgages. All you have to do is recycle the tenant instead of wasting a 30 year mortgage. Renting might be the only way forward.
I wish people would understand that your house is only worth what someone will pay for it , not what zillow tell you . People have felt rich because of the housing boom , i see a ,mental health crisis coming in the downturn
Exactly . I was able to accrue $30,000 in raw profit with the help of my investment pundit *Teresa Jensen White* . The truth is , there is ALWAYS a way to make money in this market! While the market has not been set to easy mode recently, there are still NFT to flip, solid coins to a stake, IDOs to ape into, trades to make, and yields to farm. Never stop hustling for those gains!
Good investment plan is what we need and many ignore it. think about it, we do not know how bad this recession will be , what happens when a lot of first home buyers, especially in tech industries, lose their jobs? How long before they cannot afford their mortgage payment? what happens if some jobs don't come back or cannot come back? How many home owners are just getting by month to month
No fluff, straight-to-the-point information. Exactly what I was looking for! Thanks

Thank you for this video. I am 41 and finally decided to buy my first property. This is so exciting, I was so confused as to where to start. Thank you!
Im viewing number of videos to get a clear understanding and nothing worked. But this is amazing. The way you have documented your video is awesome. Thanks for explaining all these steps clearly. Thanks a lot Samuel :)
This is the first video I watched from Samuel Leeds. And I love your enthusiasm and the straight-to-the-point style of presenting valuable information. An important piece of advice about getting an independent surveyor. (24 April, 2023).
Why is the independent survey at the end? If they find something wrong with the property, and I decide not to buy, wouldn't that be a waste of time all involved? Or would the seller decrease the price?
I am currently in the process of purchasing my first property. There has been so much confusion talking to family and friends with regards to what steps I need to take and what I need to do but no one has actually explained to me the process step-by-step. I have been following this video and it is the best guide for First-Time Buyers. The video is short, straight to the point and informative. Thanks Sam!
I have binged watched so many videos on how to purchase a property in the UK and for some reason you are the only person that is able to put into plain english that doesn't sound like fancy words. Thank you for talking in a language that most people can understand😊👍🏾
@Samuel, how, when & at what stage you call surveyor? What happens in that process? Do I need to inform the estate agents or do surveyor get in touch with landlord? There is no info on that on Internet. Thanks a lot for the informative videos
Just some feedback if that's okay, I found it extremely difficult to hear you with the music on small parts of the video at the start and end, most likely due to my sensory issues as I'm on the spectrum, but if you could maybe change the music to something not as loud or bassy on future videos (I am aware this one is a year old), I would appreciate it as it would help me greatly to focus on what you are trying to tell me.
What does it mean by ball in your court? 😅 Sorry this is my first time watching about this. What happens if there is problem in the indepedant building survey? What they gonna do if there are problems ?
I love how to-the-point you are, no waffle intro just straight into it! Definitely gonna come back to your page when looking to buy a place, keep up the good work
Very helpful video, thank you. Something I find strange is this: for example’s sake, before buying a car it’s recommended you do a thorough inspection to then be able to put an offer down, taking into account any repairs needed etc. Why is this not the case for houses? I’d expect the survey to be done first thing so it informs the offer. Any thoughts on this?
This video was so incredibly helpful as a first time buyer, thank you so much. I love your energy and I usually struggle to watch these kinds of videos but I watched yours from start to finish with full concentration. Thank you!
Bro what about a council property. Do I still need to involve an estate agent? I know my council discount but what if the council values the property higher than it’s actual market value?
I went straight to the seller and we organised the exchage and move dates because their solicitor was so lazy taking ages to do their thing. Both parties were ready so we organised everything and the solicitors had to get their ass in gear and catch up.
Absolutely love this video. Just bought a house a few months ago and this is exactly how it goes. The only thing we did differently, which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND, is we had the survey arranged as soon as we could after the offer was accepted. Reason being, you wanna catch any major issues early in case it's a deal breaker and if it is a deal breaker, you still have to pay your solicitor for any work they've done so far upon backing out 🙌🏻
Any videos on how much you need to save up? I am about to start saving and like a few 125k properties in my hometown...how much would I need for a buy-to-let vs a residential?
Solicitors and Mortgage Brokers....that's such a bs, one should be able to purchase something without have to bring onboard so many people (as like in so many other countries)
We are waiting for 4 months already the solicitors finish this job, is normal? The seller even threatened to put the house back on the market, they simply don't get along. We are very frustrated
I now owe my.solicitor £2K when the lender decided not to lend us mortgage due to some garden wall issue. Perhaps it is a good idea that you have included (or another video) when to have the solicitor jump in, factoring the potential decline of mortgage or your 2k will be flush out in the drain.
on the putting a offer forward, what would happen if i offered gold, as i will be looking for a cheap ish bungalow between 100 and 150k for under 100oz of gold!
Hi. At what stage should I get an independent survey? I got a mortgage offer but solicitors are still doing their job. Is now a good time to get the survey or should I wait for solicitors to complete their part as well?
Great video but can you answer these questions : How about cash buyer ? Same steps without mortgage broker ? For exchange and completion process - will I get a note from seller solicitor on where to deposit cash funds for the title ? or will I get that info from my own solicitor ?
