Sean I honestly wish for you so much wealth and prosperity. You and a couple of other RU-vid channels are what gave me the hope I needed for recovery. Blessings on you and your family
I had this question on my mind and this video is spot on … I am not someone who anyone would believe me if i said i had a panic attack / anxiety … with shaans videos i am slowly getting better.. taking one day at a time … will be there out sooooooooon .. Thankssssss shaan
Don’t know how I stumbled across this channel, but I’ve been watching the videos lately after relapsing into panic disorder. These words I’m writing don’t do justice to the extreme dizziness, palpitations, and general feelings of impending doom, especially when doing any form of exercise. The only thing I’ve found that slightly helps is breathing less. Not even deep breathing, just breathing less when I get the urge to breathe more. Sometimes though, not even that helps, and I’m convinced I have a blood sugar/pressure problem, or some other issue, even thought I’ve had all tests done. Anyway, very underrated channel, and the best advice I’ve seen on anxiety. Thank you.
Wow.. thank you universe for putting this video in front of me. I've been experiencing this ongoing anxiety and worry ever since my first panic attack which was almost a year ago.. and for the life of me cannot get myself to settle down. There are moments or a few hours I can feel calm, but it always comes back. I've been debating on going to the doctor again because it's gotten so much worse but in my head I just know they're not going to find anything wrong with me and say it's just anxiety. Last year when I had my panic attack, it literally felt like my heart was going to come out of my chest and explode, but the doc did tests and found nothing wrong.. it's wild to me that just our thoughts can make us feel like that. I wish I could get out of this loop for good, I want to feel like myself again and actually enjoy things, not have to worry about everything 24/7. It's extremely exhausting but I also can't sleep very well because of it.. I'm still grateful to be alive and have a roof over my head, a job, my family and friends, and my cats. They're the only things that keep me going.
Mine was caused by over reaction to overdose of weed. My panic attack started the week i started my school exam, but i started getting better after i became a member of your channel. I Love your videos.❤
Thank you .The day I started to watch your Vedio ,gradually I recovered from last 2 month .physical symptoms gone .sleeping 7 hrs .gut problem gone .now while negative thinking occured or over thinking ocured I changed to others good memories that over thinking don't last more .I learn a lot from your vedio .I priorities the thought so that zi don't want to stuck in one overthining .now a days little bit stress do not lead to physical symptoms .I take it more friendly. Positive response to brain is the key .
Your videos are on point ! But my problem ‘ aka worry is , i get better right , off my meds and sensations are gone ‘ i get my life back finally , then i notice i start to slowly overthink a stressor or just a situation im not use to , have a restless night and bam 💥 , im back into the cycle like my first time , just as bad or worse then it was 20 years ago ‘ I understand what’s going on and can manage my symptoms, but the pain and worry are intense , and the physical symptoms pop up again , than back on meds like starting all over ‘ it wasn’t a set back , its was far worse .. the only thing i got going is knowing what it is and staying someone positive through this process .

Such great information , I’ve been this way for 7 months now. I just hope that I can come out on the other side stronger and more resilient. Brain fog is horrible
I’ve got generalized anxiety since a toddler. One of the symptoms is worry about TIME, as everything’s related to time it’s tough, then I depersonalize, feel my heartbeats rushing, stomachache and so on. You’ve got the same advice ? Let it be and focusing on something else ?
@@starrperry6395 means you know what your regular body feels like as compared to what panic and aniexity body change feels like. One is a regular body function feeling most of the time.. and the other is what aniexity body is feeling. Like body on a walk in a park as compared to how the body feels during a mile long jog. Body function on run is excellerated body responce as compared to the difference of a gentle slow walk. When you "walk off" a jogging responce your body slowly goes back to where your everyday normal is. Hope this made sense, 38+ years a and p.
Responding mean not fearing your symptoms or weired emotions or thoughts, let it be there without reacting to it in fear, no matter how intense it is no matter how scary it feels, your job is to stay consistent on not fearing, no matter how difficult a situation you face don't fear it, don't avoid it do not resist any discomfort, allow it to come and face it without fearing it, focusing it, fixing it, fighting it, frustrating from it, This is what the right respond mean, I have learned it from shaan kassam video he have vodeos on this, When you stay consistent on responding like this this will slowly slowly desensitize your nervous system, and you are back to normal life like before and you will never fall back into this problem because you now know the solution, In the beginning you will need conscious efforts to respond but after sometime it will become your habbit and your brain will start responding automatically and then you become a better version of yourself compare to before!
Acceptance. Lean into and embrace the sensations. Don't put a time table on when they should go away. Understand the underlying reason your afraid. Exposure. Stay busy everyday. Get exercise. Its all tied toghethor. His video is telling you everything you need to know Believe your healthy and give it time. It could take a few years.time will go by and you will realize your feeeling normal
When I am on hight and look down I have panic attack and I feel a lot of fear and also feeling like if I jumpe from building plz help to understand this what's this?
I took some weed and I had a rough journey since then I have been battle with depersonalization and painc attacks and when I see something it's like I have seen it before Please could you help me please 😭😭🙏
Thinking of it as a fire, if we give it our attention(fire wood) it’s going to stay alive but if we just sit back not give it any attention ( fire wood) it will eventually just die down. Just let it die out on its own.
No no no just health anxiety that’s me Shaan Doctor Told Me if I don’t stop asking for Tests I will become like a drug addict I said no we have to find out what’s wrong 😂
Acceptance. Lean into and embrace the sensations. Don't put a time table on when they should go away. Understand the underlying reason your afraid. Exposure. Stay busy everyday. Get exercise. Lean into the sensations all day and actually believe you are healthy and your body is acting normally
@@Dandelionsandbutterflies This is my experience. When you had your first panic attack and your nervous system is red lining giving you all kinds of pain symptoms with frequent panic attacks derealization/depersinalization you practice acceptance. Go about your day. Stay busy and get exercise. Acknowledge your painful symptoms but not focusing on it. Place no time table on recovery Then you will go through a very uncomfortable months years staying busy. Going on with life. Practicing exposure to what your afraid of. If you do this correctly after many months or years you will notice improvements. 1 step forward. 2 steps back in progress Months/years later Your nervous system will calm down. Your symptoms will be light and you will have periods of the day you feel perfectly fine (this is where I'm at) This is the last leg of recovery At this stage Yes you think about your symptoms. There are light symptoms that come and go. Get in touch with the way it feels. Embrace it while practicing acceptance and continue to go about your day It's like acknowledging you hit your foot. Yes it hurts. You go ouch. You spend the rest of the day with a limp. But you know you will be better soon Just my interpretation. It's working in my case
@@LisaDarby-z7g Hate these symptoms. The dizziness symptom is the one I dread the most. Mines didn't last all day. Maybe a few hours. Mostly in the morning when my cortisol level is highest. The tension headaches and head pain is my last symptoms of recovery. It's comes and goes a few times now. I know how you feel 😞
