I'm so surprised you were so chill about losing that absolute tank. I woulda (and have in the past) eatin' myself apart for the rest of the day about losing a fish like that. i got my rainbow trout in small river with just simple rood and just small piece of bread on it. I got 1.3kg trout and it was only fist for me on that day.

The best of memories!💯 Wild I just fished Pandapas yesterday evening after starting at Tinker creek. It was 4 generations of anglers, my father, myself, my sons, and my grandsons. Traditions, morals, family values, and family time. Great video!

Awesome video, I've been waiting for this one, you converted me to the magnets. I used the same rig with a trout magnet hook, but with a green trout magnet float and unfortunately it sunk the float. Great to see your excitement reeling in the Bigg'in, and your sons having a great time at the pond.

I have been skunked today and yesterday (yesterday was the opening day in PA) I’ve tried everything. There is a pond at my school that is stocked with trout so I am gonna try these tips there. Thanks man!

That is amazing NRV, I would have never dreamed you would ever be at Seven Springs Trout Pond. I live about 5 minutes from the pond. I also graduated with Dean Matney the owner of the pond. Super super nice guy. He just had his pond broken into a week or two ago and the thieves stole money, lures, and even caught a bunch of his trophy fish, from the smaller pond. Luckily, they had security cameras and from the pictures that were taken, they were arrested and are waiting for there time in court.

I love this channel - just goes to prove you don't need super fancy gear to catch nice fish. I like your tips for ponds/lakes. The other morning I was fishing for brook trout in a really nice pond, but there was no surface action or rises. The pond was smaller (22 acres?), but was 70 feet deep. I just don't think I was getting my bait down low enough to entice bites. Both of these rigs will ensure I can! =)
