Want to learn how to change/flush and bleed your brake fluid? You're in the right place. The process is the same for virtually every motorcycle, but here I have a 2014 Honda CBR 650F. Mine has ABS, but that does not change the process. The service manual calls for a fluid change every 12k miles or 2 years, whichever comes first.

Operating on your brakes is serious. Thoroughly test your brakes in a safe and familiar area after performing this procedure. Even though my fluid was in good shape, I was overdue and noticed slightly improved front brake response. Brake fluid sucks in moisture, so this is regular maintenance even if you don't ride a particular bike often.
This video tutorial shows the conventional method. I think brake bleeding products like the Mightvac are gimmicks that overcomplicate the process and don't save time, but that's just my opinion after trying both ways.
