YES!!! YOU ARE A LIFE SAVER! Day after day, hour after hour, I tried everything to get my tiny whoop working. I had to update / flash all sorts of firmware (EU -> FCC), tried hundreds of different settings in betaflight, hoping for the best, followed dozens of tutorials.... they got me further, but in the end I was still stuck. Finally, it was simple: all my channels had been erased (?). Simply rebinding them did the trick. I tried to enter this hobby years ago, but because of non-stop failure I quit. Today is a HISTORICAL day for me. All because of this 1:43 long video... *Thanks A Million!*
Life saver man!!!! I bought the ARCHER SR8 Pro receiver and the channel assignment on the manual is different than the default settings on my RC model as defined by my Taranis X9D+ transmitter!
Thanks for the great video! This helped me out tremendously in setting up an external Spektrum DIY module. The channel order did not match my outputs and was giving me a headache. Cheers! Subbed and liked...
Thank you for sharing this loyd, this really helped me out. Also I don't know if it's on my side, but I tried to sub you, and for some reason RU-vid would not let me do so. I'll try again later... Cheers! Ok I got it to work! 😀👍
There is also a way to set the default to AETR so you don't have to do each model individually. open-txu.org/home/undergraduate-courses/radio-setup/beginning-radio-setup/
Thank you . I am setting up an Eachine Lizard 95 Anniversary Edition BNFwith Frsky receiver, etc. I went into Betaflight to set the end points on my Terranis and found out the channel mapping is TAER1234 instead of the radio default that I had set, which is AETR1234. I thought I would have to change the radio map to match the Lizard's map, but I didn't know if that would work, and if it did, would I have to change it every time I wanted to fly the Lizard. I thought there is an easier way. Thanks again.
Hi thanks for that I'm using this transmitter with a R/C forklift I have the right stick for throttle and steering and the left for lift the forks (horizontal) and tilt the mast (vertical). The lift works how I want it E.G. moving the stick operates the lift and releasing it leaves the forks at that height , but the tilt won't stay at the position I want when I release the stick and it re-centres (I set the spring to re-centre it as that is how I wanted it, same as the height), could you tell me how I could reconfigure the Tilt (Ele channel) so that it works the same as the height and stays where it is when I release the stick?
Hey TeamUKFPV! I was wondering if you could give me some tips on how to fly quad-copters and what's good to film, I have a cheap model right now (the dronium phantom).
This is very naive and stupid way how to change the channel assignment once you have done setting up your mixes. Instead shuffle them with Copy + Delete or Move and keep your mix settings (preferably in OpenTX Companion).
