I'm not a mechanic if in doubt please take your car van to a garage and seek expert advice.
I carry out my own maintenance on my vehicles and share how i do this on you tube so this will help others who wish ir need a bit of help with their vehicles.
in this video I am changing the front brake pads on my Ford transit connect 2011.
this will work on most cars and vans the principle is the same on most calipers.. if in doubt please ask your local mechanic for advice.
please make sure your vehicle is safe and your safe when working under on on the vehicle.

You should never rely on a jack whilst working on a car. That's a massive safety hazard. Always have the car resting on Axel stands/Jack stands. Also you shouldn't let the brake caliper hang because you could cause a leak in the brake lines.

Im.doing mine on my 2002 jumbo this weekend- the discs are rusty - what do you use to clean them up ? Wet n dry ?

@@handyandyuk its only the back brakes that need to wind in the piston ? as saw another transit video & he said backs need rewind tool - or you'll never get the piston to move back .. but on the fronts you can just put block of wood( or old brake pad) and a G clamp & theyll push back ( no rewind tool ) - is this true - as mine isnt budging :(
