In the compartment under the trunk there was a jack... Get one wheel on a curb for height... Not necessary to jack up the lower side but helps a lot.

Wouldn’t 0w20 be better than 5w20? 0w20 is the same viscosity when warmed up but will perform better than 5w20 in the winter. 0w20 probably didn’t exist yet when that civic was made that’s why 5w20 was what was recommended
