I like how you didn’t put the electrode in between the layers on the air cleaner to ensure that it comes into contact with the carbon strip. Not helpful.

The sensor showing is not an electrode and it will pierce the filter when it's closed. That is how this electronic filter is made.

If you have an electronic Air filter, do you also need a regular AC air filter?

No the electronic air filter takes the place of the regular filter

Its a MicroPower Guard. I have the model info at my office I will look it up tomorrow and let you know.

I apologize for not completing this info! We were using a model we have not upgraded by the same company and it gets particles out of the air as small as .001 microns in size! It is a Dynamo - Series 1000
