Also, the 3 smaller ones are not “pre-filters” and are not washable. The are carbon filters. This dude is giving bum demonstration, doesn’t know his equipment, doesn’t pay attention to his own work, and doesn’t bother to edit his video full of bad information. smh.
Thank you for your video, I just bought a home with electronic air filters, and had no idea how to maintenance them. This was a great help. Well done!!!
The narrow pre-filters were on the bottom when you removed them, and the large ones in top, when you reinstalled, you put the narrow ones on top. Probably doesn't matter, but FYI. Thanks for the helpful video.
I think the smaller filters are carbon filters and are replaceable but not cleanable. Once wet down it can ruin them. They are unnecessary an not needed.
Andy wasn't happy with me watching this lol.. it reminded me.. i need to pull the air conditioner apart and clean the filter...... bahahah you added to our need to do list lol. great video tho roland.. great tips.
Can I keep the furnace on while the electric air filter is off (because the cells and air filters are drying)? Or does the furnace need to be turned off too?
Hello, I just had my vents cleaned and the technician told me electronic filters were a waste of money & does not clean the air, especially allergies , duct, pet dandruff and other particles. I clean my regularly, every 3-4 months or when the season changes. Should I go to regular filters or media filters
I been using electronic filters since I lived here for 38 years and this my second furnace with a electronic filter. I wanted to investigate about it first before I make a decision to replace it with regular filter
Yo! You are giving poor advice. The 3 smaller panels are CARBON FILTERS which are not washable. They have to be replaced via purchase of new ones. They are designed to remove odors. I’m reading this from my Maytag electronic air cleaners manual which explains the whole unit. You should edit your video.
