While I was changing my engine oil, instead of using compressed air (Not everyone has this method at their disposal) I decided to hold a bike pump in the dipstick part to blow any excess oil out, this worked like a treat! Thank you so much for this video!
+Bintelli Scooters this helped me alot. Also can you let me know what's the part called that holds the back trunk. like the spoiler. it doesn't pop up on ebay if I put moped spoiler
Thank you very much that is a great idea, as i dont have an air pressure machine as the person who uploaded the video never gave an alternative method of getting rid of oil.
Thanks for the video. Very clear and concise. Been changing oil in my vehicles for 30 years. Now i just purchased a scooter and was wondering how to change its oil. Im looking for a canister oil filter 🤣🤣😂. Maybe a tiny one for 49 cc🤣🤣😂. If i didn't already purchase one i would look you guys up to buy my scooter. Thanks again!
oh yeah,, thank you 4 answering a question I've been wondering about for a long time,, which was whether to check the oil on its stand or just hold it straight ?? also, can i put synthetic oil in ?? thanks alot, its nice to know theres people out there that care enough to make a video and explain step by step. thank you so much for helping me take care of my scooter.
Hello brother Thank you for this demonstrative video. I got mine to the mechanics and I can see that the oil engine is too much. How can I minimize it at home myself?
Hi - the oil is not flowing into the engine when refilling. You mentioned a kinked hose on the crank case. Can you point me in the direction of this hose? Obviously don’t want to run engine with partial fill.
I have a question about throttle response. I just service a Taihou Zhen 49cc scooter and it's still doing the same thing when I give it the throttle... Bogs down. I've disassembled and cleaned the carburetor , blown out the fuel filter, changed the oil, fresh fuel, new plug... I do small engine repair and usually find that this is the main jet but the jets and carb are clean. What else could it be.? Any help is greatly appreciated.
My son when i first got mt 50cc tao tao he drained the shipping oil out to put in oil he drained on both sides was that ok? Also when he drained the shipping oil the spring, the oil filter and a rubber o ring came out couldn't ever find out where it went so it wasn't put back in and forgot about am i going to have more problems with doing that. Please let me know
Great video, very clear informative service vid. Answered my thoughts on where the hell is the oil filter, tiny little thimble sized filter, quick clean while checking for excessive metal particles, job done. Thanks, Vinny. :-)
I seen from another video that there's a little ball bearing that come out when you pull the drain plug out? he also said it ruins your bike?? I need your help to tell me if that's true or.not. thanks!
Ok, so you had the oil level up to the second X, but you didn't screw it in. When you then screwed it in, wouldn't it have been over filled as the dipstick went in over a half inch more?
Your not supposed to drain the oil from the bottom it's best to drain it from the other side of the scooter because when the spring comes out there is a little ball bearing that will fall out in the oil and no one realizes it. the ball bearing plays an important role with the oil and engine.
Now I'm an idiot and was new to moped I bought this April and was told it need 10w40 oil I went into store and didnt know where to find it The dude showed me where the oil was and told me that ths specific one was 10w40 LMFAOOO I had the back for 3 weeks and haven't been properly doing oil change just adding, and I used 20w 50 and I just realized this now Is my bike fucked ??🤔 it only has 351 miles Tomorrow I plan waking up and doing a proper oil change and use air from gas station to clean it out fully Is my engine fucked 😅???
I have a problem with my scooter, the oil is not going in the engine I heard you mention something about a kink hose on the crankcase , where exactly can I locate that hose please help.
Hi do you know anything about Longjia chinease scooters? Need a rear shock changing and not sure what size i need ..bike is 2017 4 stroke..longjia digita 51
Would changing your own oil void warranty? I've got the havoc 150(green).. I've did it in my other scooter and never had issues but then again that one had no warranty.
Bryan, it is highly recommended that you have your local dealership do your oil changes and valve adjustments. When you bring it in for servicing, they are trained to properly inspect the scooter to ensure that other issues do not present themselves. If you're lucky enough to have a Bintelli dealer in your area... please support and use them!
Why aren't you draining the oil from the proper draining bolt on the other side of the bike (to the right of the engine ID plate)? This is why you are finding that it hasn't drained fully. Not a great example.
Should I use 10-30 or 10-40? I used 10-30 the first time but I was told from a scooter place 10-40 is a little better and recommend and he said he used all year no problems
I don’t see why not. Most scooters are the exact same set up. I had a 1986 Yamaha CA50 and now a taotao pony 50-exact same set up. The only real differences are whether it’s computer controlled and/or water cooled.
this other video said something about a small bb falling out!....that if it falls out u won't get oil pressure to the top end!....what bb is he talking about?
there is no bb......hes just trying to sell shit on his website..that jeremy vinup guy..........no seasoned scooter guys in any forums or on here speak of this mystery bb...no worries
I just dropped my 50cc kymco scooter I picked it right up but seen there was fluid on the ground it was running when it dropped. But I turned it off right away so I just ruin the bike? It did however start right up no problem. I'm letting it set over night thou.. HELP
my jonway has a bintelli engine on it underneath the gearbox is a nipple if I remove my breather hose from it I lose gear oil but if I put the hose back no leak why was this put here?
Hello Steven. I would recommend you keep the hose one as the manufacturer has deemed it necessary for your engine. If you'd like, you could bring it in to a local shop for a full inspection. Thanks!
Obey Rhadx Won't let me send message. the bulb says 12V35/35W on it. It has a weird nipple shape on tip, which made finding it easier. bout it at Batteries and Bulbs locally
You may want to bring it into a local dealership if it's leaking oil... sounds like something is wrong with the engine and needs more than an oil change!
No No No No NO Wrong!!! ALWAYS drain the oil when the engine is warm!! It will all come out, so many so called "Professionals" miss this step, if you arent gonna warm up your engine before draining the oil, you may as well not do it!! Blowong air through the engine?? Wow janky. Dont follow this.
@@matowixunplugged7927 this method is older than most people realize, yes it will mostly all drain out. With the key off on my scooter I will gently turn the engine over using the kickstarter a few times, this helps get the last few milliliters out.
motmot welch 25.35 fl oz. It will be to much though. Unless it has no oil at all in it. Start with 24 check the dipstick and pour in some more if needed. Dont overfill. Grtz
Ok but why is the paper off the 10w-40? And is there a way we @bintelli can contact on phone cause i have the same moped i only know how to ride not chamging the oil and stuff like that?
I don't know if I agree with using compressed air either, but I guess you can. I think I'd rather pour some new oil in there with the drain plug open. I also walk away, let it go for a few hours lol. But back to the compressed air, if people do that.. The compressor should be drained at the bottom weekly so there is next to no moisture.
How will that moisture effect anything? The engine will continue to lubricate the parts once it's filled that minute amount of moisture will dissipate through the vent.
