I got worried when he tried to tighten the nut first, you should also clean the wheel hub before putting on a new disc and also clean the coating that prevents rust on the discs!
Very bad brake job... Brake shims not cleaned, oil from discs not cleaned off, sliding pins not greased, hub not cleaned and no copper/brake grease used.
A prayer for joy. God, thank You for giving me constant access to Your presence. Because You are always with me, I can experience true joy at all times. Although the joy You give isn’t based on my circumstances, I don’t always live a life marked by joy. Too often, instead of trusting You, I let my problems dictate my reactions. Please forgive me! Fill me with Your joy and peace, so that by the power of Your Holy Spirit, I may abound in hope at all times. Help me to live a life marked by undefeatable joy. In Jesus’ name, Amen
Please ensure that you wear "Flip Flops" when carrying out this operation. After all our hospitals need the work! Notihn better than dropping a heavy rotor / disc on your foot when doing this!
At least clean the shims with a wire brush and copper grease them up, along with the pads. They'll be squeaking in no time. It's an 18mm spanner you need for the guide pin nuts, not a screwdriver!
"Next we need to remove the brake drum". Er, no thats a calliper. Buy some tools man, jesus wedging a screw driver in because you don't have a spanner that fits ... and buy a torque wrench. Hate watching people who don't really know how to do stuff properly telling other people how to do stuff ..
@@typhoontim125 - on my subaru i was able to do it with a flathead screwdriver, but i ended up getting the rewind kit and coupled with a bit WD-40 it worked a treat in the end on the insignia!
@@techkingonline Interesting.....I guess it would have to be a very strong push for the screwdriver to work...Thanks for that...I just checked and those kits aren't too expensive...from 17 quid or so...
